Are you suggesting you're having trouble finding a buyer, or just finding a foolish buyer?  Orange B3s are still in very high demand...and they will be until I find that mythical cache of 20 copies in a used book store... 8)

WD#3 with "two splints (sic) on the spine from been (sic) in the WD folders... [and] a small (sic) black paint smudge by the 'H' of white"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5194124313
$80 (*erf*)

Erm, good luck with #1 & 5, Ian: those binders are hellish... :?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5194124810
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5194123289

Talking of WD binders, the seven alone ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5194141522 , etc. ) sold for almost an identical sum to the binders plus WD #1-280/300, together, first time around.
Is a strange world, sometimes... :)

It isn't one that you can declare and guarantee a $1,000+ offer, however.
If that's what you were meaning, Stephen?

Most of the copies around are in excellent condition and shrinkwrapped, too, so there isn't as much competition over the "best copy" which might have pushed the (apparent) market higher.
I know that I'm not the one person willing to pay out $700-750 for a nice, non-shrinked copy, but beyond that there are only a small number who would pay the extra for the SW (and quite possibly all of those have copies, at present).
*
And, of course, the reprinted version's a lot cheaper...

JM-02 cents as usual...

From the same seller:

Item has a $24.99 suggested price and is currently available on Amazon for $16.49. For a limited time only, though, it can be yours for $40 ...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW

And when you send in your payment, don't forget that $10 media mail shipping charge.

What a moron.

$350 BIN OCE, anyone :?:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5198774433
(starts at $250 otherwise, if that's any better...?)

oh, and is US only, too. Seller is OK to ship many of their books internationally, but apparently the box set won't fit in a 747.

Or if you would rather, you have the chance to own a piece of gaming history:

Me personally of course, would rather go this route in the whole owning of gamining history thing.

8O Another one?  It wasn't that long ago we were commenting on $120 being on the high side.  This pattern is cycling out of control:

1.  Seller A lists item.  (Might even be at a reasonable price!)
2.  Rapid bidder A bids too high.
3.  Seller B see this action and list their copies too high.
4.  Rapid bidder B bids much too high.
5.  Rinse and repeat.

Another here, 5 hours to go:
cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a ... T&rd=1

I mean, good luck if you're selling guys  :) , but I wouldn't recommend getting caught up in the hype.  There will be a market "correction" at some point, probably soon.  That's my magic eightball prediction.

I'm with deimos on his prediction, but recently this particular cycle hasn't dropped anything like as much as it used to...

I'd be happy if someone would offer Paul $750.00 for it.

There is just a lot of stuff on the market right now, so I'm waiting on the market.

If I thought I could have sold it myself, I'd have done it, and if I were a collector I'd be out there on the current auction, princesses can always  wait.  Though, if someone feels differently, I won't stop you ;)

A foolish buyer is likely to be irritated afterwards, so I'll skip on those.

Regards,

Stephen

BIN is only five dollars.   Shipping costs:         US $3.85

I'm tempted.  Especially if there are two with BINs of 25.00 each.  Looks like they've skipped a decimal place, and on shipping too.

Regards,

Stephen

Well considering the winner of that auction also paid $450.00 for a Warriors of Mars, maybe not.

Oh, and did I mention he also has a 96% feedback rating. 8O
