grrrr..... just had to rub it in didn't cha'  :(
Nice pick up....  8)

I noticed that too. It is listed with part five of his story so it is at least six or eight months old. Someone might buy it if the counters were unpunched but that is still stretching it a bit. I think Mike's price of $45 is about right.

Time to update that price Guido. :D

Ya, its time.   I actually have been debating about closing the "store" side on eBay.   For about  6months I have totally ignored it.  Thanks for calling me on it.   Its time to make a decision.

I think I posted at that time at a really weak moment as I really wanted to keep it, but I needed the cash, but WTF, why did I put $100.00.

I wonder if they corrected the spelling, or left all the US spelling mistakes in situ'? :D

If I had any copies, I would let you know.  :?

Unforunately, it seems that SOME folks here have cornered the market on them.....  :P

some of my store prices are kinda high but I just figured hey wtf if people don't buy the crap i'll just lower the price later doesn't cost shit to list it , I think i'm gonna put that best offer thing on the rest(when I have time), that way I don't underprice myself.

Its a nice way to list items you really don't want to sell...just put a superhigh buy price and let it sit for years at only 2 cents a month.  "No, honey, everything here is for sale at my ebay store, promise" (At $100 sell prices, you whisper under your breath.....)

Looks like I weakened first. My Games Workshop shrinkwrapped G2 is up for sale.

Lets hope those other bidders enter the fray. :D

Can't say I've seen many SW'd UK prints at all, John... (Hands up anyone else here who has one- or more?)

Pity the color differences of the covers aren't as noticeable as the Oz versions (D1 is fairly obvious, though, for example).
Think they'd be a lot more popular, if so. ;)

Hmmm, maybe I should withdraw the item if it's that rare!

G2 was probably my first ever bargain.  I remember buying G1/2/3 in Games Workshop in London in 1978.  When I examined my copies later it turned out that G2 was actually two copies stuck together  :D (thanks to the properties of the shrinkwrap).  Apologies to GW as I didn't retun it  .  Instead I went halves on the cost of the module with one of my friends.

(Please note that this is not the copy I am selling)

Heh, heh. If only rarity and $ always correlated positively?

For a while, I thought your non-SW'd UK G1 was going to fly past the SW'd G2;

*checks to see whether <aneoth> is in any state to defend those bids*. (Sorry! :P)

Are there really no other SW'd UK mods owned by board members, other than the above and my minty S1?
Guess they must all be scarcer than ST1, then! :D

Yes, must be scarcer than ST1.  Get bidding.  This S/W GW G2 has got to be worth at least 500 quid! 8O

Hey Aneoth,
If you're ever in Connecticut (near New Haven) We'll commiserate about high auction prices over a beer (or a few). 8)

Just looks like some people just got into a little bidding war. Nothing special. I'm sure the 'loser' will feel very happy after thinking about it  :D

I took a very careful look at this lot - assuming they are in the condition stated (which they look to be) I estimate I could resell these individually for a bare minimum of $375 - and most likely for around $400 - $425.

Considering the seller is giving free shipping for over $500, it is not really that bad a deal. Just seems that way when you see $525 all at once.

The lot contains about 50 items plus dice at 525$ is about 10$/book. Most of these books are pretty common. Where can you get 10$ for a complete handbook, a PHB or a plyaer's option? Or are these some real high-price I'm missing (except the complete Wizard Spell Compendium lot which could bring in some money). Or do dice generate that much money?

You aren't selling them with free CD's with pdf's are you?

Sorry to be unclear . . . it wasn't me who won it -- I was just mentioning the resell value if I had.  Here is a conservative estimate of what I would expect at resell (though this is the bare minimum).  $525 is still a little high, but think of the shipping the buyer would entail if they bought them individually (or even with combined shipping).  All I'm saying is it's not a horrible deal.

15 Handbooks @ $5.00 each = $75.00
Druid Handbook - $9.00
Ninja's Handbook  $15.00 each = $30.00

DM Screen & Index  $5.00
Monstrous Manual  $15.00
Monstrous Compenium 1 = $5
Monstrous Compendium 4 = $5
Tome of Magic = $9
DM Guide = $6
Player's Handbook 3 @ $10 = $30
PO Combat & Tactics = $6
PO Skills & Powers = $6
PO Spells & Magic = $9
Book of Artifacts = $8
Dragonlance Plananthas Supplement  $3
History Dragonlance $9
Dragonlance Atlas $15
Dragonlance Adventures $6
World Builders Guidebook $5
Halls of Eveningstar $5
The Created $4
Dragon Keep $4
Dragon Knight $4
Wizards Compendium Volume 1-4 = $80

Plus dice -- I imagine at least $20, probably more.

Total = $385
