Nope, no printing differences, just some schmuck fishing for a sucker.

I am pretty sure that there was only 7 total Gord books(I have 7 of them: 2 Greyhawk Adventures and 5 the Gord the Rogue books), and I wasn't aware that there was an actual "Box Set" that they came in.   :?  Was there?

There are only 7 (the titles will be close, I'm not awake yet):

Saga of the Old City

Artifact of Evil

Sea of Dust

City of Hawks

Knight Arrant

Dance of Demons

Come Endless Darkness

Futures Bright,

Paul

Bad Mike will like this one:

What was the original BIN again? Somewhere around $50?

Well, if its anything like this one he still has listed, it was $17.00. 8O

Nothing like a nice bidding war to line your pockets.

Guys, I was shocked as anyone, and to be perfectly honest I was in the process of reporting this myself to this forum (coming clean before I was busted but Ralf beat me to it) but was interrupted by my wife needing help with taxes and never made it back here.  I posted here awhile back (which Ralf was referring to) wondering why this item should have such high prices when I personally don't think it's that rare!  My BIN on this was $50 and I honestly didn't even think bidding would get that high, more wishful thinking than anything. But I guess I was wrong, because I have another announcement, the runner up bidder (who also bid $75 but was the later bid so did not win the item) bought my other copy of Priest's Spell Compendium Three as a "Second Chance Bidder" and has also promptly paid. Dang, $150 in 24 hours from a book I personally don't consider that hard to find!  Who is doing the Aceaum valuation for 2nd edition spell compendiums?        Move over Orange B3s and Prepub R1's, there's a new daddy in the house......8O

Can someone explain why this lot is going so high? X7 is the only (moderately) rare item in the lot. And there are no bidders with a feedback score of less than 64 - so no newbies to blame it on.

That's probably for the Player Character Record Sheets.

Aye, aye, Cap'n.

i guess its just a case of whoever the winning bidder is, really wants the items in that lot....you get things like that very often. have noticed loads over the last few weeks.

i think more and more ppl are getting back into D&D again and even collecting too, as the no. of ppl buying has increased dramatically. be interesting to see if it stays like this or drops as it normally does.

Are we nearly there yet?

I'm guessing combined shipping.  The current high bidder is going for another lot from the same seller as well:

cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a ... 9&rd=1

The price is maybe a little high but it's working out around $8-10 a module.  Not outrageous in my opinion.

not only that one, his flotilla one is a little OTT imo, but looks like he is going for the kill with all his listings really.

I've been selling these for years, never got over $25 for one.  They aren't that hard to find.  I just sold a complete set of I-VII for $69!

Does paying almost $95 for an old GenCon program count?
