I have a copy of A1 that fell out my bag one rainy night. I didn't realise until I walked past it the following day. It looks like hell. Maybe someone will give me 50 bucks for it.

It loooks a least a couple of people from this site have been nosing around this auction.  Look at the bottom where the seller answered a couple of questions about the auction price...Funny Stuff.

hi guys! about time i said hello....lurked and read on here for ages but never posted anything....someone i know (mbassoc2003) was telling me about a few things going on here, so i thought i would show an interest again......

that dbessinger guy, he outbidded me on a load of things just earlier (damn).....but good on him if hes serious and wants the items hes after then good on him i say...and a certain other person did too...naming no names!

hope y'all are well....just trying to persuade my girlfriend that she DOES want to play AD&D next week when my daughter comes over....how dare she say "that game is stupid" sheesh!

well i tell ya, if i could get hold of things regularly, i would, i really would!!! i am an accountant and could work for myself from home if i wanted to , so could actually do both.....

Unfortunately I am one of those sellers and wont be able to make this a full time job.  

It's kind of like the way day-trading was in the late 90's.  Everyone paid attention to the guys who hit it big a few times, but forgot about all those who were losing money.  It's a wonder that any of these resellers make that much money to make a decent living.  It might be fun but there are a lot of other businesses that would be more profitable.

Well, I have been reselling for awhile now, but it is not my sole means of income. . . I certainly have been making greater profits the more auctions and effort I put forth, but I do have a full-time job.  Only that isn't enough money. . . especially with the wife staying at home to take care of our daughter and only working (very) part time.  

So, at this point, I make about $700-800 a month profit - just enough to pay the house mortgage.  That's not too bad, especially considering that I only sell about 100-150 items per month.  I figure that it is a part time job that I can do from home. . . heck, my daughter loves playing with Flat Rate envelopes, pieces of cardboard, bubble wrap and that damn tape  

If I quit my job and devoted all my time to reselling?  I guess I could triple my profits if I could manage to win enough lots on eBay - that would be more than I make at my regular job. . .

But, I also have put in a lot of hard work - I am sure my auctions sell for more than the average based on reputation, pictures, grading and descriptions.  It should also be noted that D&D is not enough. . . not by a long shot.  The market is too saturated and  lots/collections go for a higher price.  I branch out to all RPGs - the absolute best money is made with BattleTech.  I also do pretty good with White Wolf and Warhammer (when I can get it).  Still, even Rifts & GURPS can be profitable - I just go by the $5.00 rule.  The $5.00 rule is I can sell almost anything in Very Good or better condition for at least $5 - so, total up the items and divide it out. . . at $5.00 each will I make at least 50% profit? (figure at least a few will sell for more).

Plus, I have been bored with every job I have ever had. . . at least this one is fun.
