Average age of gamers (from surveys) was certainly decreasing in the UK through the late 70s/mid 80s.

I have taken to adding the line "I'll leave feedback for you after you leave feedback." to the payment notice. They get the item but no feedback until they leave some feedback first. It's a shame it requires these tactics! And maybe they don't care about 'discernable validity' -- that's the scarry part!!!

I bought one of those used at a game store, in slightly better condition than the one Harami bid on, for $30. Worth it at that price, but not at $150. Hype sold the $150 copy. Knowing what I wanted and being in the right place at the right time netted me mine at $30.

Although the book is worth owning, it does not merit all the hype it gets.

I'd like to see a set of dice made from kiln-dried elephant dung. Or maybe 2-year-old hardened Spam. Now THAT would be worth a bit.

OK -- 'typical woman comment': Went to his site and looked at dice. I find them interesting and the Hermatite and Malachite are very attractive. Far more interesting than the plastic ones - IMHO. :roll:

People who play on glass tables shouldn't throw dice made of stones.

I really like to see dice made of non-plastic materials, but 1250 bucks is a bit steep.

The past two years these dice sets have been sold at the GenCon auctions. A set of dice made from dinosaur bones was auctioned but I can't remember what they went for, but I am sure it was over $1000.
