Actually saw a bidder in another space recently who bid and won lots of auctions and immediately after left negs for the sellers. Ruined tonnes of auctions.

Was just the comment on Page Not Found that "most copies have a sticker on the back of the sleeve stating 'Made in Britain'".

I've only seen a few in the UK, all of which had the sticker, so was curious to know whether it would under the shrinkwrap, or not.
(Purchased via Polyhedron as noted on that page, no?).

In which case, I wonder why any copy shouldn't have the sticker... (aside from the obvious!).
Just a minor point, anyhow.

I already e-mailed the idiot and asked him about page count, and he was whining about getting 1,000 e-mails asking the same thing. "Of course it has 144 pages" he says, whereupon I said "Well, if you smarten up and add that to the description next time...."
He seems to be under the impression that they are as rare as ST1. Poor dumb slob.

Mind you, we've both come a cropper on OD&Ds (albeit that's a little bit more excusable, no?

).

I accidentally picked up a fairly decent Cthuloid copy along with GW paperback PHB (not so good!) & MM, a large stack of good WD issues, etc., for barely $70.

This trend seems crummy from a seller's perpective as well. I recently put up several recent release books on eBay, only to see a flurry of activity from new/0 feedback bidders. Surely these common items don't inspire people to come from the woodwork. On the other hand, I remember having 0 feedback myself. One has to start somewhere.

As a small time seller with some collectibles yet to unload, it is especcially aggrevating to go the extra mile to ensure lightning quick shipping, or to bend over backwards to deal with the foolishness involved with international shipping, only to have the winning bidder refuse to leave feedback.

I always leave feedback to a buyer when his part of the transaction is complete (ie time of payment). I only wish some of the buyers out there would take the time to leave feedback, or at least let a seller know why he might not be leaving feedback in the event there is some problem that needs to be resolved.

How does anyone get their numbers to a point of discernable validity, with so many deadbeat buyers / sellers out there???

I have also picked up a couple Dieties (w/the tentacled one) lately. No, they are not mint, but good. I have noticed a drop in the demand for that book and you can grap one for around $35. This guy is dreaming if he thinks he is gonna get $150 for that lot.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I dumped what little I bought a while back. I got the PHB and a module or two. I had to re-read the combat section at least six times and I still do not think I understand it all...

Character generation is just plain nuts.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

The D20 system is good in some ways, but feats and most of the skills just have to go. Or be toned down.
