Hmmm, since you mention it - it might also be a bit of a commie module... Although D&D by and large is very much a capitalist running-dog game, with all that naked acquisition and greed, theft, exhortations to the DM to get the players to spend all their cash so that they need to steal more (instead of donating it to a worthy political party which aims to bring about a revolution in Greyhawk and free the oppressed serfs from their bonded labour etc..).  Yet, an oddly classless game - until UA coughed up a small bit about birth ranking or somesuch, and even then it had little impact upon the game.

As a game Chivalry and Sorcery had a much more class-based approach (cue Monty Python and the Holy Grail sketches), as did Elric/Stormbringer - what you were born determined much about what kind of game you were going to have ("oh, wow, what luck, we all rolled up Melniboneans - well, lets spend the first three sessions buying slaves and mansions, summoning demons and mapping out our towers of sorcery...")

:)

Not to mention the overall theme that good and evil are stark opposites and that only fools make any compromise with evil....since swords are much more convincing tools for negotiation.

Good condition (not so wonderful though), but definitely does not justify the price.

His response was even more hiliarious!  One just sold for $169:
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... 8765558151

I'm assuming Stormber picked up a T1st/1st here.  Anyway, this is why you shouldn't sell what you don't understand.
