That "never played" R4 is possibly going to end up back over the original BIN price
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8764656943
$233 with 8 hours to go... :?

Not good.
(And neither was seeing coug on the R1 & R2 at a high (IMO) price, earlier in the week).

I know it is a big lot and the dollar amount works out to be $3 each or so but when you factor in shipping and condition of a good portion of the items one has to ask what they are thinking. I have my thoughts on the matter but will not say in an open forum....

Yeah. I killed the BIN. I wanted the sets but did not want to spend $50. So I killed the BIN and then by the time it was clase to closing it was over that already. Why is what I can't figure out. I am thinking the seller should give me a kickback for being greedy.

I know that trick well, having killed the $450 BIN on Burnie Bros's 2nd Chainmail within the first minute of the auction only to see it go to Paul for $700+.
Some things don't work out quite as planned, do they? ;)

(Mind you, I thought $450 was somewhat "over", whereas $50 for those ain't too bad, IMHO... But not what they closed at!).

Better luck next time...

$50 probably was an ok price. I was only after the Immortal set though. I have seen the other two sets for for nothing. The Immortal was the only real item for me in the auction...well we roll the dice and we take our chances. The seller has to be happy.

Ya gotta admit I was almost too quick to kill that BIN! :o
Was almost certain you were going to follow the GenCon price, too, when I was waiting for the start.

Oh well... :P

*kerching* ^^

Yep, that's the truth... Strange, isn't it?

Will stick with my own slightly beat-up box rather than fork out $50+, I guess.

Speaking of strange...I kinda went a little overboard with this one.  Guy wanted it really bad I guess.

*blinks*

It's a 4th print, not a 5th. Or am I missing something? :)

In most cases, even when it's a bit high (but not when it's excessive), I prefer using BIN. One shot, one kill, you get the item, no one else may contend you, no snipers... and no surprises over the final price.

It happened to me once to kill a BIN because I did not want to pay that price; in the end, I was sniped by an offer which was way higher than the BIN. I learned the lesson.

$1 starting bid with a $25 BIN option for a single 10-sided die...

10 Sided Die: Games | eBay

Is it just me?  Or this totally ridiculous and the seller's on crack?  Am I missing something here?
