Obviously someone who does not pay attention to Ebay, or was desperate to get Dragon #50.  Makes no sense.

Twice I have read Dragon #50, however that auction was for issue #41. Is there something I do not understand, or is it simply a mistake?

Actually, you are right it is Dragon #41, however the stupidity remains the same.

I didn't read the #.  I just looked at the cover and assumed the prior post was correct.

The Halls of Beoll-Dur is a great adventure but I don't think it is worth that much...

Large Lot of Dungeons and Dragons Books Box Sets | eBay

Am I missing something in here. I have seen this newest "I won't lose under any circumstace" newbie bidder around recently so that part kinda makes sense, but what is the Coug doing bidding on this lot over $200? 6 box sets, a few hard covers (some rough), a few modules and a couple of magazines?  I dont get it. :?

If you were to buy all of that one at a time you would surely pay a total with shipping of well over the current total price of $243.  Wouldn't you?

Not me.  Being very generous and looking at it from a buyers perspective and not a sellers perspective I am looking at ~$190 total including shipping. From a sellers perspective particularly from someone across the pond, I am looking at half of that.

If it's someone from here, I gotta say I really don't see the humor of sticking this guy with roughly $50 in final-value fees.

Yes, it's a breathtakingly idiotic listing, and, yes, this guy is practically inviting ridicule ... but is that really enough of a crime to make up a fake user and reach into the guy's pocket?

I don't know this guy, so maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think he deserves the JonB-Max treatment. As I mentioned above, I think someone he knows has seriously misled him about the value and history of the item.

Whoa!  8O   I was looking at this lot earlier, but bbarsh was high bid at the time, so I thought "Aw, let him have it, there isn't that much there".

Unless one of those minis is rare...

The $27 that bbarsh bid seems about right.  Go figure.   :?

ah but if you look, it was just a straight fight between two buyers. no guarantee it would hike to that amount again.

amazing sale tho!
