Something wrong here, but I can't quite put my finger on it.....

Well, I wouldn't buy em, and you wouldn't buy em, but they do look nearly new.  Given the cost of new 3.5 books these days, it might not be that bad of a deal. :? There's at least a dozen hardcovers in there, and misc. other stuff.  Is it worth that much?  No.  Is it cheaper than the brick & mortar shops?  Yes.

Ah, missed that.     I thought it was just Frank's general hatred of 3.5...yes, it's very shillicious.

The quick-minded Stephen figured it out. I certainly am not a proponent of 3Eeeeewwww, but I was referring to the blatant shilling.

I've been using the term for at least a year (in fact a Google search of "shillicious" points to my earlier post on Acaeum) :)

Main Entry: shill·i·cious
Pronunciation: shIl-'I-sh&s
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin shelicere to shill
1. Greatly fraudulent or dishonest
2. Very suspect: "a shillicious auction";

- shill·i·cious·ly adverb
- shill·i·cious·ness noun

Like I said in the PS forum... wha?! It's not even a first print, not in shrink... not that, even if it were either of those, it should go for that much.

Waterdeep? Never heard of it.

(OK, would rate it higher than R1, as noted, but... :?)

The others went "cheaper".

I just started doing some diggin based on the current auctions of R1-R4 that have now qualified based on our old friend tauglamorigus again(with a little help from me   ). When checking out this auction above and the other 3 auctions won by that lopez bidder, I looked into lopez's feedback. Amazingly enough there was no feedback left by either the bidder or the seller for those auctions. There was some feedback exchanged on a couple of other auctions, but none was left for the R series auctions. Becoming even more curious, I dug a little further and lo and behold both the seller and the bidder are both suprisingly enough from New York state. The more I think about it the more I have become convinced that those R-series auctions back in August were nothing but a big shill.

Do you think it will be a hit ?

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1

Less common than US version 'the keep on the borderlands' (it is not too difficult  :D ), perhaps quite rare here (maybe only sold with the french first edition of the red box?) but only in a good state, not better...
