Do we get the kitty if we hit the $60 BIN and pay via PayPal?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5636294350

Or is it just there to mesmerise some sucker into paying that much?! Image

Sure...the price is ridiculous...but it's that so often overused (( RARE )) that is what really gets me. However...Seller has provided a SUBMIT BEST OFFER, so I'm sure your comments are welcome!

What the heck?
$300?! They need more than a mesmerising kitty to shift that lot.

It only gets worse after the ULTRA RARE start... (well, at least they don't hate selling to Canadians unlike the previous seller )

I am tempted to offer $1.

The worst part is that my offer would be closer to the actual value of the items than the $300.00 BIN. :P

Is that the same seller who is currently selling the Caverns of Tharacia? :P

Good question.  I'd like to know what a "plkeanty of modules" is?  Is that like a murder of crows?

It was the first one I've seen in two years of actively looking for one so I set a very high conditional bid... I was actually relieved it only went for $49, and was expecting it to break $100 potentially.  I only have a couple RP blister packs left for a complete set of the AD&D line except for the Wyrms packs which seem a bit puny for dragon minis and hence I have less interest in them.  The big dragon RP box sets are much better.   :D

That is the first time I've seen that particular mini on the auction block also, so that wasn't a totally insane price. The high bidder is a major player in the 11 series arena and also a member I believe. Congrats!!

I was really after the Amethyst and Emerald wyrms but as fate goes I was outbid... BLACKMOOR!!

Uhmmm!!!!  Well I only won the one dragon actually, the other one my fingers were not fast enough to put in a last ditch bid.

Well, I wouldn't buy em, and you wouldn't buy em, but they do look nearly new.  Given the cost of new 3.5 books these days, it might not be that bad of a deal. :? There's at least a dozen hardcovers in there, and misc. other stuff.  Is it worth that much?  No.  Is it cheaper than the brick & mortar shops?  Yes.

Maybe this is what Frank was referring to:
