Hmmm, its that empoweredguy guy. He bought a bunch of stuff from me over the last few weeks. He only bids on shrinkwrapped modules and he absolutely refuses to get outbid straight up on just about any auction regardless of the cost.  Best thing to do is to let him lead early and snipe him at the end. Assuming that someo other idiot doesnt come in and get into a bidding war with him on some of the other modules, watch and see there at the end and I will show you. :P

In looking at the stupid amount of money he has thrown your way in the last month I would have thought you might have spoken better of him. Heck maybe you should stop using Buy It Nows and he can run up your auctions.

Actually, I wasnt really speaking bad of him at all. He spent abou $300-$350 on my stuff over the last month or so and paid right away no problems. :)  He seems like a decent guy to me as well, but I just question his bidding strategy. When you consider the fact that my BINs that he used were at best half of a lot of stuff that he bought from other sellers, then maybe you are right.

He is willing to spend money. I guess I worded it wrong. His willingness to spend "top dollar" and then some worked out for you. I was just commenting that if was not willing to buy no matter the cost perhaps not all of your auctions would have closed with BINs.

In either case here is some one shooting for the moon.....

Hmmm, nothing quite says "noob" like an Ebay auction on a small lot with an opening bid of $350.00 and a reserve price. 8O

Bummer, I was really interested in OP1... Not for $76.00+ though!  Sheesh.  Anybody else have one at a reasonable price?  :)

You said it about the bidding war!  Man!

No, no, no... *covers my eyes*
Sheesh. You could pick up something truly rare, if not unique, for that kind of money.

(For a start, that's more than the superb 1st print Blackmoor Ian had up for sale. And that took days to go, for some unknown reason (possibly to do with missing words in the auction description?). Was sorely tempted... :?).

Sorry, no I don't have a SW'd OP1 to pass on, but a box of them for swaps sounds like a good idea just now, if I could find them at $5-10 each ;)

Sorry man, I only have 1 of them, and I just actually picked it up a few months ago.  Fortuantely, I was able to come out on top of a hard fought bidding war and won the auction:

This one cost me a whopping $6.56.   Just bide your time, you will be able to get one soon enough for a much more sane price.

Ahh, I was just trying to fill in a little "Shrink Wrapped" hole in my collection.  No rush, I have a mint copy I paid $7.00 for, but I just hate the long, dark teatime of a wait between appearances of some shrink wrapped mods!  :)

Thanks for checking!  I can't wait to see what the final price is...

Ok, I admit my bid was a little low, but what's wrong with these people?  It's just an OCE (and a rather destroyed one at that!)  8O

8O

Same old, same old.  Incredible how the more bashed up OCEs tend to go for higher prices.  I think I'll run over the next one I intend to sell, muddy tires and all.

well maybe thats it. they come across a nice crisp minty looking one and think "well it doesnt LOOK old, so it cant be worth anything or be rare" :)

maybe thats the trick....right guys, trash your OCE box sets and make your fortunes!! :)

Jesus tapdancing Christ....

And I thought maybe I paid too much for my OCE at $40 this week! The box had been sat on but when it arrived it was actually in better condition than described...guess I will just go out and toss it in the pig pen and let it "age"....should get a good return on it, say 600%.....

I would have liked that Q1 for the fun of opening the module with that fresh minty crispness, but where the crud is this one gonna end? Place your bets, will it pass $200?

Just a final update on that shrinked Q1:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

And yes it did in fact sell for $191.27..................

Hmmm...this or the shrinkwrapped OCE. I know I sort of defended his bidding but I would have backed off the Q1 and gone 191 on the OCE if I was willing to spend that for the Q1....maybe it has sentimental value.
