I don't know. OK, it's shrinkwrapped. But $127 for a set of the Master Rules?

I was watching the news today, and now I know why people are paying these prices. It seems crystal meth has become rampant in the US.

Heh, the Immortal Rules from the same seller went for $132.50 & the Expert rules went for $51.00.   I don't know if its crystal meth, but whatever the hell it is keep it away from me.

Not sure if this has been posted yet. An (apparently) original painting of the 3rd edition Gamma World cover by Keith Parkinson. Sure it's a nice painting and undoubtedly a collectors item. But... isn't that price a little over the top? Dunno. Seems a little excessive to me, but maybe you guys have a different opinion...

Seems very strange to me as well. Given that it's more than twice the price of any of the other paintings the seller has (and there's some nice paintings! Golden General.. gah!), I'm wondering if it isn't an honest typo (albeit a rather major one :P)

I don't blame the artist for trying to drive up his own value as much as possible.

This seems like an opportune time to try to bump up the price of your art, as the collectors' market seems to be getting ready to boom.

Hope you had a good holiday, Giorgio. :)

A very beautiful holiday, thank you.

No, I've not noticed GenCon auctions ... something interesting?

Cheers

I've just read the GenCon thread. 450 USD for a 2nd Chainmail ...

As you know, I was not looking for it when I've bought it but ...

Thank you very much

Giorgio

PS: It's not the proper thread but I don't want to restart a dead-one. 2 weeks ago, after 4 months (I'd won the auction in march or april) I've received my encyclopedia magica from Jonb ... I'd lost every hope but, in the end ... No comment. Only to inform you.

Granted this is totally ridiculous like the $1700+ for the R1-4, but its still pretty bad:

Creep has decent prices on the plastic D&D miniatures, but man, his D&D book BIN's are ridiculous :(

Creep1962 must think that he is the luckiest bidder in the feckin world.    I mean, why else would he win an auction and then post the same item(s) that he just won in his store for 3X the amount he won the auction for.  What a jerk off. :x

Maybe Creep1962 has the money to just wait all of us out?   :?

This time next year, he could be selling B2's for $100 to Acaeum members who have the shakes from "collectors' deprivation."   8)
