Well, it seems the recent converstation in the interesting items on EBay about the 5th print OD&D set got me snooping around that auction and man if the original didnt do it for ya, it is now clearly deserving to be listed in this thread now:

Original TSR | eBay

What a feckin joke.   Sh*t, even though the 1st print I won is in very well loved shape   , it is looking more and more like a huge freakin bargain now.  :?

... wow. That's a bit crazy.

Kudos to the guy for having the testicular fortitude to admit on the auction that he ripped off juliabulia previously for the description.

*nods*. And for restarting the auction, too.

Dungeons and Dragons Books | eBay

Absolutely hilarious.  The names of the so-called bidders are priceless.  Which one of you guys is "bobfromaccounting1975"?.

$3600+  8O   I take it all back, 3rd/d20 rocks.  (Starts scooping up "rare" manuals).  Seriously though, what's going on with that?

Hmmm.... I just reported that last night to Ebay for copyright infirngement. The vigilante front on here has been very quiet the last few months so I am not sure if it is someone from here. Ususally if its "death from above", we already know ahead of time. :?  I guess it is 1 of 3 things: 1) Someone from here who has not announced or mentioned it. 2) Someone from outside this site doing the deed, or 3) The seller shilling his own auction in attempt to draw attention to it or his there auctions.  Maybe pdfkilla can shed some light on this situation. :P

New record (I hope) for "one of the most rare and sought after modules of all time";

R4: $330; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5226552981

(OK, would rate it higher than R1, as noted, but... :?)

The others went "cheaper".

I knew Lopez was going to bid high.  I put a rediculous bid in and he topped that.  With fools like this, it is going to be hard for me to get an R4.

I was very lucky with my R4 - i got mine off Aneoth, just before Mike got his hands on all his stuff :)

Are we nearly there yet?

I bought copies of R1 and R2 off on Aneoth the same day he sold his stuff to Badmike.  He offered me a really good deal on his remaining R3 (shrinkwrapped) and R4 but since I had already spent quite a bit on other stuff, I told him that I would pass and get them later for (I hoped) a bit cheaper price.

I still don't have an R3 or R4 and I now have a fractured pelvis from kicking myself in the ass so many times.

Bundle of 16 Dragonlance modules | eBay

Seller has ZERO feedback and shows a S&H of $15 dollars.  I wonder if Cougar has spammed the seller with his M-bag question?  And wouldn't it be funny if instead of 16 full size modules Cougar gets the micro versions instead?

Too true.  Growing up in the countryside as I did, I was astonished the day I wandered into a hardware & gardening store and saw the large plastic bags labelled "sheep manure" for several dollars a bag.  This auction is not so far off in its astonishment.

M-Bags are fine with that seller, actually.

I thought $220 was a pretty good deal for his Polys http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5225195501 , then those Dragons went through at $300 on a single bid.
But now Prufock is telling me almost all the Polys still have their mailing covers... (I didn't ask that question, just wanted them to read/possibly even use).

p.s. Just remembered they listed a few "Living Greyhawk" issues in there, too. Any particular issues I should look out for? Just the first few??
