Hey, good on Cougie if he can get these prices, but what's going through these guys brains?  Must be the heat.

That's in amazing condition.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I think why some things seem to reach stupid prices in the UK is just that. It's in the UK where gaming shops are far fewer (I live in Birmingham for example and for the second city as far as I'm aware there's only one gaming shop really, Waylands Forge). We have to grab stuff whilst we can, and even though ebay in the US is tempting, you often have the debate "is it really worth it after charges from the bank for converting money, shipping costs and any vat/import cost".

:(

Nonsense. It's in Very Good Condition.

Y'know, just like everything else that Coug sells.

eBay

This is just sickening. I wonder how long this price trend is going to hang around? It would be nice to complete my collection of Known World stuff but frankly I dont give a shit if it is in shrinkwrap or not so I am not going to pay that much for it.

Ad&d Box Set | eBay

Same seller, same inflated price. But why is the shipping on the first auction $14.95 and on this one it is only $5.95? Did they put collectible bricks in the WOTI box set?  Maybe the first set includes an extra large jar of vaseline.  8O

D D SET 5 IMMORTALS RULES Shrikwrapped Boxed set | eBay

Yea, thats the guy that bought the shrinked Wrath of Immortals Box Set from BTB. I am amazed that he hasnt found any takers on that set considering he paid $100.00 for that same set. The best part of it is that he bought it in Fine condition, but "magically" it became Mint after it was shipped. 8O

urgh, the Known World is my favourite world as well and seeing things like that & people taking advantage of others love of the game in that way is disgusting. Make some money sure, but don't try to rip people off big time.

wow! see that L3 on its own is still commanding a pretty decent price. might be the nudge needed for those selling their anniv box sets and wondering on splitting them or not....

Yup, I'll have mine up eventually. The rest of the Anniversary set is pretty neat as well. I won't be terribly unhappy if I'm forced to keep everything but L3 :P

Well, it seems the recent converstation in the interesting items on EBay about the 5th print OD&D set got me snooping around that auction and man if the original didnt do it for ya, it is now clearly deserving to be listed in this thread now:

Original TSR | eBay

What a feckin joke.   Sh*t, even though the 1st print I won is in very well loved shape   , it is looking more and more like a huge freakin bargain now.  :?

... wow. That's a bit crazy.

Kudos to the guy for having the testicular fortitude to admit on the auction that he ripped off juliabulia previously for the description.

Dungeons and Dragons Books | eBay

Absolutely hilarious.  The names of the so-called bidders are priceless.  Which one of you guys is "bobfromaccounting1975"?.

$3600+  8O   I take it all back, 3rd/d20 rocks.  (Starts scooping up "rare" manuals).  Seriously though, what's going on with that?

Hmmm.... I just reported that last night to Ebay for copyright infirngement. The vigilante front on here has been very quiet the last few months so I am not sure if it is someone from here. Ususally if its "death from above", we already know ahead of time. :?  I guess it is 1 of 3 things: 1) Someone from here who has not announced or mentioned it. 2) Someone from outside this site doing the deed, or 3) The seller shilling his own auction in attempt to draw attention to it or his there auctions.  Maybe pdfkilla can shed some light on this situation. :P
