Unfortunately there isn't a box.  :(

It's been snapped up by harami2000 (nice buy   ).  But according to the seller:

Hallo John This one never had a box! it was bought in a clear plastic bag in 1976(I think?) you could buy the box seperately at the time, always thought it was strange

Can anyone confirm this?  Was it a UK only option?  Or just complete bollocks?

Does he mean that they sold an empty box? I highly doubt that. It only came in a box as far as we know. Anyone else have any additional info?

Never heard of it, though I do make a sound similar to that after eating my wife's meatloaf.
Might be a misspelling.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Dungeon #7,9,11,12. Mint or thereabouts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5917652580
$7.50 BIN + $4 shipping.

Small deal, yes, but should be reasonably sweet for those who don't have 'em.

I'm slightly surprised this hasn't sold yet... (Even if the top-right is a light crease, it's otherwise an apparently excellent copy).
These are certainly not worth as much as the Ozzie prints; but a bit more than $20, IMHO.

Spoke too soon...
Helps pay for the habit, I suppose.

*shrugs*

And ya almost got those 22 early Dragons for $9, too...  :D

We were hoping to get a deal on the Dragons. The D3 was worth it since we didn't have to pay shipping from the UK.

Heh, heh... Hiya, there! :)

Certainly would be interesting to see an attempt to put estimated values on those "Foreign" editions which come up more often... can't be any more an inexact science than with the original boxed sets, IMHO!

btw. Many thanks for those excellent GenCon auction reports. Am damned jealous about your Snits, though!! 8O

David.
