It has a lizard logo but no price on the cover.  

This means it was made in either May or November of 1978.

A 1st print would have the GK symbol.

I think these are dice bags for TSR's Dragon Dice game. I have one myself and use it regularly for the gaming sessions. It looks exactly the same and came from a Dragon Dice box.

Thats way too much for that item.  If you check under Mattel Electronics "dungeons and Dragons" they pop up every couple weeks or so.  Some of them dont even sell at $5.

About 8 months ago a liquidator sold 4 unopened ones that went for no more than $35 each.  

I would say be patient if youre looking for one of those.

Not looking for them, just stumbled across the auction. I collect only AD&D, I don't know which D&D stuff is rare.
