Jon, you KNOW I'll pay via Paypal using my credit card. What is the going rate, 2.9% plus 30 cents for a transaction? No shipping, you can keep the shrinkwrap!

Congrats, Paul!  Please let us know when it arrives, and that everything's okay with this baby (and that it's a confirmed first print).

I wonder...how popular original art and sculpture work by Dave Sutherland is, and is it collectible?  I had a chance to actually meet the man for six months, back in 1997.  He lived in Poulsbo when he was trying to get his job back at TSR (post-WOTC buyout).  Lia and I picked up some trick stuff from him, as well as a fair bit of books and furniture.  He drives a tractor trailer now, and lives in Nebraska with family.

PHB and DMG cover art would go for a fortune I imagine.  The Monster Manual would bring in quite a bit as well, but probably not as much (not as iconic to most fans).  As for other stuff... well, it depends... The cover art from Dragon 12 you uploaded on Appraisal would probably fetch a fair amount, but how much is anyone's guess.  I'd guess $500 since it's from an old Dragon but it's not a famous painting to most D&D fans... but that number was pulled out of thin air so it could go for more or less.  We'll never know unless you decide to put it up on eBay.  The Acaeum member tsrart is the resident expert in this area and should be able to give you more information and a better estimate.

This Todd Lockwood stuff is SOOOO unfair.  Why, why don't I have a few thousand to throw around?!  Preferably something that my fiance won't find out about (I bought it at a yard sale honey, honest!).

R1: TO THE AID OF FALX - - SHRINK-WRAP, MINT, D&D
EXTREMELY RARE COLLECTABLE IN PERFECT CONDITION
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 30705&rd=1
10 days with no reserve.  Opening bid is $9.99.  From the sellers description:

This is a mint copy of RPGA module R1: To the Aid of Falx. I purchased this copy at Gen Con back in 1982 when it was first released. I carefully slit the shrink-wrap across the bottom, slid the wrap off the top to gently look through the module. I then slid the wrap back down on the module, slipped it into a protective archival magazine bag, and put it in a file cabinet sandwiched between other modules. There it has remained for the past 22 years. This is probably the most perfect copy of this item you'll ever see.

Ok, this one is big  8O

R1: TO THE AID OF FALX - - PRE-PRODUCTION, MINT, D&D
EXTREMELY RARE COLLECTABLE IN PERFECT CONDITION
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3187032432
10 days with no reserve.  Opening bid is $9.99.

From the sellers auction description:

It appears from reading the info there that these modules were numbered and it looks like Frank signed them. Mine has neither a number nor signature. Also, the title page layout is different than what is shown in the close-up of a Pre-Production copy which they have there, as seen in this link: Page Not Found

As you can see, my module lists this as module #RPGA-1, while theirs lists it as module #R-1. Also, my module mentions that this was used at GenCon South in February 1981 but, unlike their copy, makes no mention of it ALSO then being used at GenCon East in July 1981. These two things make it appear that my module is an earlier version of the one shown on the Acaeum site.
