Hmm... perhaps kaskoid = Tim Kask?
That would be my guess.

It's not an editor's copy. It's a copy that the editor took off the presses and brought home. Nice way to use the term though.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Yes, it's probably the Evil Wizard Kask.

Would be nice to hear some stories or see if he offers anything unusual.

You'd think it would be him... his other auctions are for a range of pipes (the tobacco variety), and from memory his picture in Adventure Gaming had him with a pipe in his mouth, and the few anecdotes I've heard about him all contain a reference to pipe smoking.

It seems he is more into slot car racing than RPGs these days though.

I'm not really into autographs, but a Tim Kask signature on Dragon #1 would be pretty nifty.

Regards

Mike

Isn't he part of the inspiration for Elminster?  Because he's old skool like Greenwood?  And Elminster is always smoking a fancy pipe of some kind (ala Gandalf I suppose)...

I'd pay him 20 bucks for him to tell me some good stories from the old days!

Yes, it's probably the Evil Wizard Kask.

emailed him and asked if he was the famous Tim Kask.  This is the reply "I am Tim Kask. I don't know about the famous bit."  :)
