Probably should have poted this in the classifieds section, but since its here I'll say I already had it saved in my watching section.  I may not have much chance though with shipping to US at $33.00, ouch  8O .  Didn't you just but these a couple weeks ago? or are the ones that you are selling now being replaced the ones you just bought?

Bought them 'cos I wanted good quality .pdfs. Now I'm passing them along. Looks like I'm gonna have to do the same with the early White Dwarfs.

Hrmm... and $61 for the copy just sold; even without advertising here.

(Was just over $70 last time, I think...).

A few cheap auctions (at current prices), especially if you can work around the postage...

Very fine condition 4th print Basic set with virtually no-one watching it...

99 cents; 2 days to go.

Over two dozen modules and suchlike; mostly still at 1 cent, with two days to go; e.g. DL12;

Hrmm... this one's probably worth listing, too; the DLs are possibly SW'd and 155 Dragon Dice (presuming they all are) has to be some fun.
The no-qualms $8 shipping listed by the seller for media mail probably tips the balance.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5952644379
$15.99 with 2 days to go.

It looks strange, maybe they're Tiffany collectors?  I guess there's such a thing and the item was listed in the glassware section as well.  Where's purpledragon for an investigation?

Tiffany Collectors or not those bid retractions sure seem like someone was testing out the waters.  Look at the 1 retraction from the guy who eneded up winning the auction.  He retracted his bid for $400.00 as the wrong bid amount and then later on post a bid for $600.00 which doesnt make any sense.  Another thing to look at is that seejay2000 not only is his name the same as the seller (CJcornwall & SEEJAY2000), but that bidder has only bid on 4 items the last 30 days, all from the same seller CJCORNWALL.

Welcome to eBay

It seems that seejay2000 bids on every one of CJCORNWALL's auctions look at his feedback. EVERY auction that CJCORNWALL posts, SEEJAY2000 bids:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... =-1&de=off

That auction was a BIG SHILL no doubt.

Sorry to quote myself, but here is an update on this one: Seejay2000 is no longer, unfortunately CJCORNWALL seems to have gotten off with just a warning....         .

I took the time to send a report in to eBay with the points you made about CJ/SeeJay.  Don't know if anyone else did the same.

Makes a change for eBay to take some action.  But I wonder if they bothered telling the winner that they paid far too much?  :?

eBay would probably argue that the final 2 bids did not involve SeeJay and therefore the price stands.  But I doubt if the price would have been pushed that high without SeeJay.

thing is tho john, if you yourself, cancel someones bid on one of your auctions, the highest bid then becomes the one BEFORE a bid was made by that person..... so why arent ebay dealing with it in the same way? ummmm methinks their own greed is at work there....

CJCornwall is no longer a registered user.

Wonder if the high bidder got his item?

Cheers,
Malcolm

I actually did report him as well, right after I left my post here. I sent them a nice detailed description with all the links.  I tried to make it as easy as possible for them, kind of like a point and click investigation, because I know if I hadn't he'd still probably be shilling       .  Ebay is notorious with things like that where unless the problem climbs up their leg and bites them on the a$$, they do not do anything about it.
