Damn damn damn. He doesn't ship outside the Americas       . Sigh... I'd have bought everyone for the store - they would have been sold here VERY QUICKLY (one would have been for me of course!  :D ).

Are those cards actually worth as much as they cost?   There is a local comic shop that has gobs of cards that have been sitting there forever but the prices seem to be somewhat high and I enver see them on ebay.  The TSR cards dont sell for much and that is the only reference point I have.

Bythe way Ralf I think you should demand a commission for helping that guy sell the binder. :)

Ralf Toth wrote:Talking about the cards to put inside: Are there any more former TSR artists with their own set of FPG cards? I have Easley, Elmore, Brom, Parkinson, Ruppel.

These cards are worth little, but it's interesting to read the description of the art from the artist himself.

AFAIK they are worth little to nothing. Around '95/'96 I was casually collecting Elmore cards, spending some money on it, but I never finished the set. Last year I got a complete set for $5 on eBay. The same with the other painters. I don't know about the chase cards, however.

Hehe, I'm not doing this for the seller, I want to help find forum users a nice deal. I still think, that at $6 they are a nice deal. The one from the Rhea Shelley auctions went for around $15 last year. Plus, it is a really useful (though cheesy) item.

I have been thinking of buying one or two for myself. If I do would you like for me to purchase more than I want and forward the extra ones on to You in Italy :?:  All I would want from you to do that is the additional shipping and normal purchase amount(s).

I contacted Hill's Wholesale Gaming 'cos I'm in the UK and I have the same shipping problem. They will ship abroad if you order from their website.

http://www.wholesalegaming.com

And they said they had over 200 of this particular folder in stock. I wonder if they'll five a discount for buying in bulk? Anyone know what the binder ring configuration is?

Did anyone actually like this game besides me?  Still, it has the coolest gameboard.  Not nearly as fun to play as Dark Tower though.

A good point, Ralf, and I meant to thank you for the heads-up. I've added to my Empire of Cheesiness three times in the past few weeks after following up on Acaeum posts.

Bring on the cheese!

For all you completists out there that just have to have anything and everything D&D.  The guy selling the last one has to be out of his mind if he thinks he can get $27 for the figure.  Someone prove him wrong!

That last one is definitely not mint.  It's been opened, and not what he claims, that the bubble seperated from the card.  The other two are at least reasonable.

Only ships to U.S.  - the seller may not be willing to lift this restriction.

Still, some of us should bid or the seller may start to get nervous soon. . .  :) - they are probably thinking what the hell!  Nobody will even bid $3.00 on my H- Series?

This is only "interesting" because I've never heard of/seen it before:

cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a ... 5&rd=1

What is the 2nd Edition Preview?

It was a full sized pamphlet put out shortly before 2nd edition. I'd dig mine out, but the auction is over in a about an hour. Best of luck, it can't go for that much.

For what it's worth, I think it also came as an insert in Dragon #142.
