Yes, indeedy. I got out a long time ago, well before it got as crazy as it is now.

I musy agree with many of you in that I simply cant see it being that costly.... I have three copies of Jade With no cover and I did not pay much more than a bill for any of them. I just cant see the cover being worth 900 bucks.....

Please don't get my meaning wrong with my post above. I am VERY happy for you that it sold for that much. It was a very good auction and an excellent sale price. And there is certainly nothing for you to express regret about. You sold an item that went for what some (myself for one) thought to be an unexpectedly high price. That is excellent for you. Sometimes a seller wins big and sometimes a seller does not.

I don't understand the price for the auction myself. But, then I have paid ridiculous prices for other items that struck my fancy on many occasions. So, I have no room to judge someone else's purchasing choices or someone else's value system either.

It's about a kid who accidentally shoots a gun and each proceeding page shows where the bullet travels around the world in the form of a "whole" drilled through the book. It's was my great grandmothers, and I remember reading it back when we lived in South Boston. It's on the funny side, but I think it was trying to detour kids from playing with guns. On the last page the bullet after traveling around the world comes full circle and hits the kid. Anyway maybe I was missing the page where the bullet cut through that copy of Boot Hill. :lol:
