No but when I first saw the auctions, the first one is sealed, and he probably just did sell similar and forgot to remove the subtitle.

Good as reading copies go, so I bid on them.

Given the condition of my copy of Eldritch Wizardry, this is an improvement.

How many times is he "not going to relist it"?

That is a great line: it's like saying, "Bad buyers! Bad, evil, naughty buyers!"

I also like how he specifically mentions the reserve price. I'm tempted to bid $299.99, then refuse it when he inevitably offers to make up the one-cent difference after it doesn't sell again. According to eBay policy, I'd have no obligation whatsoever to buy ...

Then again, why bother? This guy doesn't seem to have much of a clue, which is a headache I don't need.

Ok, I hit it with 299.99. Can someone else jack me up to my max? I'll GLADLY refuse the extra penny. I'm insulted by this buffoon. He's pissed because no one will grab their ankles and take it up the can for a Warriors of Mars?

Hey, I'm finally famous! That's my auction you linked to.

For the record, I don't enjoy breaking up the Silver Anniversary sets. However, over the years, I have bought/sold probably 10 of the things and I HAVE broken up sets (upon request) a couple of times in the past. This has left me with an odd number of items that don't quite make up a complete set. In fact, I'll be adding a Silver Anniversary Ravenloft to eBay in a couple of days ...

And, no, I don't expect to get hit with the same Wand of Incredible Good Fortune that Darkseraphim found recently.   How he got his L3 to sell for over $90 remains a mystery.  8O Congrats, Dark!

Very nice, Harami. Let's just hope some fool doesn't snipe it for $300. I am SO looking forward to telling this guy I am not paying a penny extra to get the book.

Nice feedback score Xaxaxe.  You have been around eBay for a while.  You have a store too or just an eBayer & collectiholic?

No store or anything like that — just a collector and longtime D&D fan. I go through flurries of eBay activity, then sometimes fall silent for months at a time. Right now, I'm selling some extras and pruning the collection a bit. The L3, as I mentioned, is an orphan from a Silver Anniversary set.

I'm also a sucker for some of the cheesier stuff. I'm the guy who won the module display rack (which was great, except for the shipping) and I just won Darkseraphim's D&D binder auction. Does it get cheesier than a D&D binder ... ?
