No, not super rare. I have Matt Whalley's original copy. He even inked his name on it like so many of us did way back when. It shows up from time to time.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Have actually read that its pretty tasteful. Been meaning to page through a copy next time I'm at the local gaming store. $75 IS a bit much though.

The Book of Erotic Fantasy comes shrinkwrapped so unless the local hobby owner takes the shrink off one for viewing you won't know what's inside until you get a copy. I bought a copy and then sold it. Maybe I'm becoming prudish in my old age, but it was a bit beyond the pale for me for a couple of reasons. One, it has basically no value in gaming. Yes, it contains spells, diseases, magic items and such, but I can't imagine ever utlitizing a venereal disease spell in actual play. As a gaming tool, it just seemed over the top, trite and silly. Two, it contains nude photography, which is fine in and of itself and understandable considering the subject matter, but it was mostly a bit skanky if you ask me. Leather, whips, chains, mutated bodies, Tammy Faye (Baker) Messner makeup, blisters and other assorted "extreme" shots just kill my libido every time.
Your mileage may vary, though.
