It's an auction for a 5th print original box set plus supplements but it
also has something called "The Book of Monsters" by Phil Edgren.
I can find only 2 references to this on the net - on afterglow's list and
that weird french site abcdaire.

It's the 1976 version by Little Soldier Games rather than the 1978
edition published by Gamescience.

Nice buy Chromatic. I figured it would be you or Adam to win the 10th Anniversary Combo. :)

The Book of Monsters that I own has a different cover, but the same copyright date. It was also published by Little Soldier. Mine also doesn't state a printing. I wonder which is the first print? BTW Nev, I bought it off of eBay Australia for $19.50. I was expecting to see you bid.

I think it was a decent price for the 10th ann combo pack. I knew you had that one already Burnie, and I havent seen Adam bid on much for a while. I'm still looking for a few more if anyone has any for sale or trade. I still hate bidding against a fellow acaeum member though, sorry Scott  :(

Hah. I often forget to check the australian ebay.

I have a separate sieve set up for it (because there's stuff I'd
be willing to buy from oz that I wouldn't from the US so
I have totally different trash words).

BTW To anyone who's updated to 1.3.4 can you tell me if the View links
have stopped working for you? I made a change so they would work
on Mac OS X but seemed to have stuffed it for some windows users.
I've done a new beta 1.3.5 which does a check for your OS.
