This one is sets 1, 2, & 3, not Sets 1-3.

Currently $9.99 with 5 hours to go

Thanks Deimos... after seeing your link, it occured to me that I don't have any M&T assortments. Has that happened to anyone else? I thought I had most of the more common D&D accessories, and have been under the misapprehension that I at least had a M&T 1-9, but a few weeks ago I was putting something away, and for some reason wanted to look in the M&T... you look where it would be if you had one, nothing there, so you look in a few other boxes where it might be, and nothing... and slowly you realise you don't have one, and never have.

Regards

Mike

You're not keeping an electronic inventory (Excel spreadsheet or whatever) of your collection? It's a great help. You know at one glance what you have, in which condition it is and what you still need. No digging through boxes. You can even add recent sales prices, so you know what your stuff is worth or what to pay for a missing piece.

M&T is one of those overlooked and undervalued items. I personally, love the artwork. I have all three, but I am constantly on the look out for first prints of set 2 & 3, of whicm mine are 2nd or 3rd (can't remember off hand).

A spread sheet of some kind is a must. I have a relatively small collection of a 200+ items and without my spread sheet I would be very hard pressed to keep track of needed or upgrade items.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I keep track with separate Word docs. Just haven't had time to set up a database.
I have most all of the printings of M&T, if you need them.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

There are quite a few GW MM & PHBs on sale just now: goodness knows why!
None in wonderful condition, but several half-decent...

I've got an Access database that I created based off the Acaeum. If anybody needs it or is willing to host it let me know. I also included sections such as current value, price paid and a note section so you can catalogue where you have the item stored at :D

For storage I use plastic Rubbermaid hanging file tubs that I label A,B,C....then I use that code in the database to quickly find the item.
If you use the plastic tubs make sure that you place a couple desicant packs to control any possibility of moisture gathering and seal the lid for long term storage. 8)

dzubak wrote:Strange, they originally had it listed with a $695 reserve that was not met (final bid ~ $465), then they had it for a BIN of $895, and now up for bid with no reserve.  The other auctions are listed in this post a few pages back (by harami2000 and myself).

n.b. This re-listing does not include the supplements which were on the initial auction.

(The seller is listing two supplements (including a first print Blackmoor) under separate auctions, but the original failed auction which stalled at $465 included five early print supplements plus Chainmail:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5918957787 )

If the final price for the re-listing goes anywhere near the $471 I recently paid for a better condition (when sold) 2nd print with an early-ish Greyhawk thrown in, I'll not be sure quite what to make of that...

*g*. As noted, more early (= 1st) print supplements to follow:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5930566606
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5930570120
(just listed)

The seller will easily get more than their original $695 reserve, given that the 1st Blackmoor went for >$100 and 2nd GK Greyhawk for >$50, separately.
(Plus the $510 for the box, of course...).

*g*. If I hadn't been so badly put off by their "rules for international buyers" in the first place and been a reseller, myself, that would've worked out fine!

7 days with no reserve.  Opening bid is $49.99.

I won this one for $103.50. Check out the auction information. Everything is in really nice condition--far better than described. The seller payed for shipping and insurance himself, and the items were amazingly carefully wrapped: both the White Box and the Holmes Basic Box were in hard plastic containers, even! This is the best bargain I've ever had, and I thought you all should know that the seller is on the up-and-up. He seems to be really new to it but really honestly trying to make a good name for himself. Regards.

Heya, there, <Falconer>!
Congratulations on the purchase! Yeah, sellers who undergrade aren't common (although on this lot the piccies were a good indications).
Throwing in shipping and insurance is highly generous, though; especially since the auction said "buyer pays" :)

But it's always easier when you lock out the barbarians at the gate...

The comment which made me smile was:

Q: hi, I am 3220 rated, a Titanium Powerseller & could pay with pay pal (or cash US) I ask as I live in UK, may I bid please? Obviously I would pay shipping charges,(GPM for smaller items or insured surface (M bag) preferred. Thanks for your time either way, no offence taken or intended Please "reply" to this so I know which auction were on about, thanks Failing that I now have a USA based address you can send item(s) to that will be forwarded to me, would that be better/ok? --Dave
Answered on Oct-05-04
A: If I understand your posting, you have a US address to which I can ship. At this time, I am only selling to buyers with US addresses. Thank you for your interest.

*whistles innocently*

After that, I wasn't at all fussed ;)
