Someone ask the question.

*searches around for a question*

Interesting that someone should deliberately change their eBay user ID to that after acquiring hundreds of positive feedbacks :)

(Not sure about "very good" condition, but embarrassingly it's above average. That the GW manuals weren't built to last like the hardbacks is an understatement...).

*g*. And compared with some of their starting prices for other stuff, rather good value for money! (ymmv ;))

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 5929846919 (huh?)

Best is the Fiend Folio at a $55 start with an apparent gash down the front cover (VG condition again)

I just meant someone ask the seller if it's a softback.  I was too lazy.

OK, whoever buys this (and I bet it's someone here) needs to be publicly ridiculed.

Looks as if you've scared all the Acaeum completists away. No plastic paladins in here ...

"The game is NEAR PERFECT.  It has been 3-hole punched. "

interesting tactic advertising the item.  put "NEAR PERFECT" in all caps, bring attention to it, then describe it's faults.  maybe i should start using that..  "This item is COMPLETE AND IN GREAT CONDITION. item has made one trip through a paper shredder." :P

Dragon Issues: 2, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 18
Visit the sellers other items list for the various links to the mags other than Issue 2, which I have linked below.

Each one of them is now up for auction at the irresistible bin price of 50, except for Issue 2, which does not have a BIN price (See link below).

You had best hurry and place your oders, I am sure they will be going FAST!!!

Realistically speaking though; They seem to be a bit overpriced to me. Except for possibly Issue 5...

There was an entire thread about this a while back:
acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=922&am ... =tsojconth

Surprisingly, the general consensus was "not much".  Why do 3 little holes make so much difference?

Very simple in my eyes. It is not in original "as printed" condition. I would not pay $600 for one of those in that shape. Now I have one so I am biased.

However, if I did not have one, I would put my money away until one came around that was not damaged.

It would bug me forever that one of my prized items was in such a state. But that is just me.

The unprofessional nature of Tsojconth (mid 70s cheap paper etc.) makes it easier to forge, and apparently more sensitive to devaluation.  The item's not that flashy to begin with, so anything that affects its condition without some provenance to back it up is treated pretty harshly.

This is all good to see and read. I was seriously considering bidding on that item on several ocassions. But always held back. Thinking (correctly it now seems) that the holes were simply too much to bear the price the seller wanted.

I E-Mailed her with an offer after one of her many auctions for that item ended with no bids (Yet again) and I asked her nicely what she would take for the module. She stated nicely for me to forget it..... and to look for the item to be back on the block soon. That was at least two auctions ago. I think the module has been on the block at least twice since then. If not more.

One would think that she would eventually get tired of paying the listing fees.

I think when we last discussed this module I said it might as well be torn in half. I stand by that comment.

She is definately fishing for a bid. I am slightly surprised that no one has bitten yet...

Without sounding contradictory, there are not too many of those things around. It would be logical for some one to grab it sooner or later. I think that is what the seller is counting on.

I'd be shocked to see more than 10 new ones (unregistered on Acaeum) to ever surface on ebay. That goes the same with the other two - even more so for Tomoachan.

I know of 4 Tsojconths, 3 Tamoachans and 2 Inverness held in private collections by non-members who have no intention of selling.  I'm sure there's more out there, but not many.
