Nope, box bottom is plain, so it's a 1st and not 2nd.

Yup, nice snag. I have both. Probably going to sell/trade the 2nd print.

darkseraphim wrote:Just got the Tekumel set, it's an excellent/near mint TSR #1005 1975 first print (Gygax intro, Sutherland illustrations), complete.  It even has an additional introductory sheet that none of the Tekumel pages mention.  Woohoo!  I want to keep it, but I don't think I can afford to.
:(

IIRC that's mentioned in Heroic Worlds, but I wasn't ever able to pinpoint which sheet it refers to exactly in my set.  Can you please describe it more fully, darkseraphim?

The temporary pic is at:
ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Just listed.  Another set was just listed as well, so this should be fun to see.

I have the flyer in my 1st print, but not in my 2nd. However, the bottom of the 2nd print is an exact copy of the flyer, so I guess they stripped it out for the 2nd print.

At GBP 15.00 apiece, maybe this belongs in "Silliest Auction" thread, I'm not sure.
[edit]
D2 does NOT have the fairy.  The rest do.

Certainly rather steep for a non-mint starting price. Not quite "silliest" territory though, IMO.
They certainly should be more scarce than the U.S. monos, but not as rare as the Ozzie ones (and prices for those are all over the place, but generally high).
But I've said that before...

Relisted starting at GBP 10.00 here:
