dzubak wrote:Strange, they originally had it listed with a $695 reserve that was not met (final bid ~ $465), then they had it for a BIN of $895, and now up for bid with no reserve.  The other auctions are listed in this post a few pages back (by harami2000 and myself).

n.b. This re-listing does not include the supplements which were on the initial auction.

(The seller is listing two supplements (including a first print Blackmoor) under separate auctions, but the original failed auction which stalled at $465 included five early print supplements plus Chainmail:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5918957787 )

If the final price for the re-listing goes anywhere near the $471 I recently paid for a better condition (when sold) 2nd print with an early-ish Greyhawk thrown in, I'll not be sure quite what to make of that...

7 days with a reserve.  Current bid is $100.00.

I bet the guy saw the bidding war a month or two back on another copy of WoM and is hoping to get a sucker.  BIN of $450.

Hrmm... the same seller who sold me a photocopied 2nd edition Chainmail and original OD&D "coverless" booklets.
I'll give this one a miss, to say nothing of my guess as to their reserve!

$36 with 1 day to go (states free shipping, but appears to have been withdrawn (see below))

Pulled by the seller under two minutes before the auction end, as far as I can tell.
(Make a mental note of the name <rpgshopkeeper>, just in case...).

I asked the seller what the deal was, and he said the cancelled the last auction because of "too many sniping" which was "devaluing" sellers too much.  So he set it to a BIN instead.

These are later issues by Judges Guild. The 1-6 is a compendium not the original digest size single issues.

Just got the Tekumel set, it's an excellent/near mint TSR #1005 1975 first print (Gygax intro, Sutherland illustrations), complete.  It even has an additional introductory sheet that none of the Tekumel pages mention.  Woohoo!  I want to keep it, but I don't think I can afford to.
:(
