I believe it is more sinister than that...

One of our wives has discovered the secret checking account and uncovered the heretofore untold boatloads of cash that has gone into collecting...

She has undertaken a quest to destroy the industry and therefore torpedoing our hobby... damn it!

I'm gonna call Dan Rather and have him do some investigating. I've got some documents around here somewhere that prove playing D&D makes you a civic-minded, tree-hugging, food kitchen volunteering philanthropist!

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

For those who still need to fill a few gaps (myself included)...

Dragon "#51, 52, 56-105, 108 and Best of Vol. 1 & 2... great condition".
(Separately bagged, etc. Looks like a good deal from the larger pics)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5923282790
$15.50 with 1 day to go.

(As usual with such bundles, kinda makes a nonsense of The Acaeum valuations, no?)

That's what I get for asking...

I wasn't going to mess with the auction, just get into a minor discussion with her. Under my pseudonym, Mephistopheles.

Heh.  My nickname in college was "Mef".  :)

I do not have that one, but Quicksilver Fantasies put out  half a dozen other tiltes in the early 80s, all solo adventures.

looks like cougarrinard is so intent on controlling the H1 market that he'll even bid on an auction that contains only the box...

He surely has the contents without the box and this newly created "Frankenstein" set will fetch a nice price ... IF he ever sells one of these.

Chainmail; 3rd edition, later printing, in SW
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 5924553059
$22.49 with 6 days 5 hours to go.

(Certainly doesn't look like it's going to be a "bargain" and am surprised at the number of bids already....
Still an "interesting item" for some people, I'm sure).

seller: "i am sorry i dont know a thing about this rule book and i dont want to open it up and find out"
Smart move! :)
