That odd little D&D auction closed at $6,600.  The winner, interestingly enough, was a zero feedback bidder.

The Egg

A zero feedback winner. A wife who "accidentally" bids on her husbands auction. Fishy, fishy. I haven't checked, but I get the feeling it is way overpriced, too.

I'm not a pro, but even if this auction is 100% legit I don't see how it's worth that price...maybe time to move this to the "most ridiculous price" thread...

UK auction.  10 days with no reserve.  Opening bid is approx $1.78.

Shouldn't this go into the copyright infringment thread as well?  He's offering a DVD with the music and scans of the sleeves.

John Huckerby has reported the auction. He posted to the copyright thread.

Jon did some math on the auction, and it is overpriced. And shilled. And fraudulent. Etc. Etc.
Someone will get porked on this one, either the seller or the buyer. Unless they are the same person. I'm going to e-mail the second-place bidder and warn him.

has been for some time now... no takers.

was previously $750 reserve, no? (remind me if I'm wrong, please)

(IMHO, over-optimistic fix based on Mike <improvstone's> high price for a nice condition set. And the extras here are "run of the mill").

Would tend to agree .. while I did pay a premium the quality of the set was much better ...

Judging by the other items he's selling, he spends a bit too much time communicating with the dead, and not enough time researching pricing. A beat-up B2 says it doesn't sell.

Now how much do you reckon a talking B2 would go for?

I do. It says many things, mostly bashing 3E. That's why we get along so well. I can send a pic if you like.
