I'm not. I am a tad curious that a seller who has collected as much as that has only 1 feedback. I wouldn't be shocked if he moved overseas and conveniently forgot to ship the stuff. It would be next to impossible to go after him. Even if you used Paypal, he is apparently not a covered seller, and all he'd have to do is withdraw the money and close the account before he hopped off to Bora Bora. Unless he offers escrow, I wouldn't touch that auction with a 10-foot pole, even though they usually only cost 1 s.p.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

I checked this auction out as well and I agree with Deadlord's suspicions. Someone who apparently has that much gear (some of it quite rare to boot) and only one point of feedback? It seems doubtful that someone could have accumulated that many rare items (and multiple copies yet) without having used Ebay at least as a buyer. Furthermore, I would think that any serious collector wanting to liquidate his AD&D collection would have posted a notice to the Acaeum concerning a sale. Something just doesn't seem right with that auction. Unless the seller is willing to make some water-tight guarantees my gut instinct would be to avoid him. Low feedback and a list of items that sounds like my Christmas list - I dunno . . .

I think I'd take my chances bidding on those wads of chewing gum that Britney Spears supposedly spat out before I tried bidding on this auction.

All of the items are opened and probably used. I think its very possible that he collected the items as they were released.

There was another seller that sold off his collection on ebay, the guy who slit the shrinkwrap open to look at the items but kept it to use as a sleeve. He hardly had any TSR feedbacks as well when he started offing them.

Nice pickup.
The Great Karnak will now make a prediction:

Fraud auction. The seller apparently knows small details, such as Jade Hare being shipped with and without a cover, and which items are "rares", etc., yet he has never used eBay and is unknown in this forum. He's been an eBay member for a little over a month. He doesn't take Paypal or escrow, and he bids on his own auctions, then retracts the bid.
Karnak says he will take the money and run overseas with his collection, if he even has one. I pity anyone who wins this.
I do have an idea, though..........
