Yeah, I lost both playoff games by a grand total of TWO points...

Makes all those wins during the regular season pointless. :roll:

I Would much rather have gone 7-7 and won it all at the end than win all of the regular season games (12-2 in the Luddites), just to lose two playoff games....

I also need an address to mail the A-2 to you Lucyjoyce.
It is far from Mint, but complete and playable, and I picked it mostly because someone else had already offered up a copy of A-1....

I just renewed the recreational/free fantasy football league for 2009. If anyone is interested, feel free to join. For those that have played at Yahoo before, here are the abbreviated instructions:

In the "It's Go Time!" section, click on the "Sign Up Now" button. This should take you to the "Sign in to Yahoo!" page.
You will need a Yahoo ID.
*If you have a Yahoo ID already, sign in.
*If not, click on the "Sign Up" button toward the bottom right of the screen next to the "Don't have a Yahoo! ID?" section. You will be asked a few questions and then can continue.
Once you are signed in, you should be at the "Welcome to Fantasy Football registration" page.
Click on the "Join league" button under "Managers - Join existing league" header.
This should bring up the "Join a League" page.
Under the "Accept an invitation to join a Custom League" header, select the "Join Custom" button.

Draft is currently scheduled for Saturday August 22nd @ 6:00 PM CDT (GMT/UTC -5 hours). Those that cannot make it to the live draft can still set an auto pick list to prioritize players.

Ok, the Gridiron Goblins are back... and ready to roll with the incredibly shrewd, err lucky, Autodraft AI that ended up picking both Brees and Adrian Peterson last year

I've kinda picked a load of players who appear to have done well last year, but I'm not sure about the whole draft thing...

As my time is so different to you guys, will it auto pick for me if I don't get there at the right time, or will I be left with the 1 legged, blind WR who has syphilis and an iron lung?

Live from that League Web Draft Pages.
It will give you a link to the actual Draft Site on the day of the draft.
I think that link is available about an hour or so before the actual draft starts.

In the mean time you can test your computer set up to see if it is compatible with the Draft Site.

Go to Draft Central (One of the top buttons near the right).
Look to the right side where is is giving the Countdown to the draft.
A small bit underneath says:

TEST YOUR SYSTEM TO SEE IF IT IS DRAFT COMPATIBLE

Click on that....

The Autdraft will do a draft using one of a few options by your choice.
If you do not make a choice, then It will take the best player available (Yahoo Sports Writers opinion) at each STARTING roster spot you have not yet filled....

OR It will take the best player left from YOUR cherry picked list for each empty STARTING roster spot not yet filled.

Then it will begin picking random until your Bench is also filled up.
Like 8 more WRs, or 3 kickers and 5 WRs....

Be very careful about how you set up for an autodraft.
You can kill your team with it.
