In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock will be broken using the following system:

Most touchdowns scored by entire starting roster.
Most fantasy points by starting quarterback(s).
Most fantasy points by starting defensive team(s).
Most fantasy points by starting defensive player(s).
Most fantasy points by starting defensive back(s).
Most fantasy points by starting defensive linemen.
Most fantasy points by starting wide receiver(s).
Most fantasy points by starting running back(s).
Most fantasy points by starting tight end(s).
Most fantasy points by starting kicker(s).
Random "coin flip".

Heh, they must have changed that then. :) I am almost 100% positive it used to be the higher seed moved on.

There you go... I'll leave it to Aneoth and Lucy to sort it out, or wait till Tuesday when all will no doubt be revealed.

I'm too busy working out how many TDs McNabb has to throw for me to beat the Uglies... I think it's 8.

Ugh, I lost every playoff game in every Yahoo league I was in this week.  Geez.  My highlight will be playing for 3rd place in numerous leagues next week...

Anyway, the rule for playoff tiebreakers seems to be Total TDS, then QB score, then DEF score. By this criteria, it looks like Jo's 7-7 team might squeeze by Aneoth's 12-2 monolith.....she prevailed in all three of these. Pretty incredible playoff game there!!!!

Oh yeh and I can't hold it back....THIS YEAR'S GIANTS ARE TREATING DECEMBER JUST LIKE LAST YEAR'S COWBOYS!!!!  0-2! 20-8 COWBOYS WIN BABY!!!!  Not looking good for last year's superbowl winners the last two weeks.....or the rest of the season.    :D

Just read that Romos Fumble in the End Zone does not count as a lost fumble.
That woulda made the difference.

Hey, let me live it up. If we didn't win this week the playoffs were not going to be an option...it was win or go home.

Saying that, Shane, the G-men better win at least one of the last two (especially the Panther game next week). I learned from last year's Cowboy 13-3 season and playoff flameout you have to finish strong....going 0-4 in December would mean one and out for the Giants, IMO....

What a fluke. Won't believe it's real until I see it on yahoo tomorrow.  If I really did win, I am buying a lottery ticket this week.  One doesn't question crazy luck.   8O  8O

Good Game Cubes.

Fluke, huh?  I think you knew what you were doing:  You took a hammer to Reggie Bush's knee (after my hopes were raised after one good game) and made sure you owned Pierre Thomas.  I had banked on Bush's numbers for last week and this week against Detroit...sigh.

Great, weird win against the mighty Lugs, LJ.  I won't be able to sleep now. :pale:

So are you keeping our crushed helmets oozing with our scrambled nutmeat on the trophy shelf or  leaving our carcasses to rot in the sun? :)

Congratulations to the Screaming Iguanas for their victory over the Puguglies for the Luddite's League Championship game!  :)

Great game, and well done!  A dynasty is forming :)

Do you get a free trip to Disneyland with the victory?   I hope you like the WG4.

It was a great season, lots of fun.

A special thanks to Mike B. for running the League.

All bow to the Screaming Iguanas.

Best,

Paul, The Puguglies

After squeaking into the playoffs, the Dragons roared to their second straight championship in the Acaeum Collector's League.
The Gridiron Goblins and Block Wipes finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

Congrats on the Championship Iguannas.

Greatly Enjoyed the Luddites League again this season, though I was really dissapointed in my roster management at the end.

Also; I really do like the idea of a keeper option, but I  think that just one keeper is not really very useful. In fact, if your ONE keeper ends up getting inhured after the draft, your team is likely screwed. Would prefer to have either a total re-draft league, or several keepers.

Enjoyed the ACL also, though I obviously had no clue what I was doing at the draft and it showed in the first 7 weeks games (1-6 start).

I somehow went from thinking that I was not even going to be in the Playoffs 3 weeks ago all the way to winning the damn thing.

I'd like to especially thank the Cones for saving my season by coming out of nowhere and beating the Dragonlancers in week 14, thus allowing me to sneak into the playoffs by a measely 5 points(50 yards and that's it!). Going for the "three-peat" next year.

As a side note, it hard to beleive how tight the AC league was this year. Mike who had the highest league point total for the regular season, only had roughly 50 more points than Aneoth's 6th highest total.  Teams 2-5 in total points were only seperated by a total of roughly 13 points.  That's pretty damn close.

Yeh, see my pick of Tom Brady in the Luddites for Keeper QB...never recovered all year.

Jo beat the two best teams in the league in consecutive weeks to get the crown, all that with by sneaking in with a .500 record. Truly goes to show a few things: Doesn't matter squat what your teams do the first 14 weeks, as RBs like Barber, Gore, Bush, Addai, Portis and other studs grabbed bench enough to make your powerhouse worthless if you had these guys.  Instead, A backfield of Tashard Choice and Pierre Thomas was worth it's weight in gold....timely pickups are very, very valuable.

Anyone who has not "anted up" can ship me the module you owe Jo by the end of the year....I have contributions from myself, Paulkm, FormCritic, Aneoth, Sheeadog and Avurax (I believe that is who purchased this D1-2 to have it used as a prize).  So Smarmy, MDR003, SH60B, either send me a letter module by the first, or you can mail it yourself ( Oh and Jo you get your copy of WG5 back!!!

So far Lucy will receive:
A1
A2 ( I think this is the module Aneoth has set aside)
B1
D1-2
WG4
WG6

Plus three more.  Not a bad haul.  Thanks to everyone that played!

Mike B.

It was actually close to the best league I've ever played in the last 15 years.  Any team from #1-#6 could have won the entire thing based on points and matchups.  Means next year will be a real dogfight!!!

Congrats to Lucy!!  Send me a PM where to send the module.

Can't belive I fell short the last two seasons one spot out of the playoffs.  I did manage to win the consolation two years in a row!

Having worked 10 hr days yesterday and today and Christmas shopping last night and tonight I haven't had a chance to bask in the glow of my win yet.  I am carving out a chunk of time tomorrow evening to drink pomegranate martinis and be self-congratulatory.  I came in second in the Luddite League last year, and am thrilled to have pulled a victory from the jaws of the Lug-Pugs.  The AC league was a different story, although I had a 7-7 team in both leagues.  Came in 5th place there and was proud to do it!

Btw, the Dragons and I are still on the Survival Football (round 2) Island with one week to go.  That's been fun too.

Happy Holidays to everyone!  Hope Santa brings you your heart's desire.

Congratulations Jo on the Luddite win. Contrary to previous posts, I thought it would really come down to a Lug/Pug contest, as they were the gun teams all year with the rest of us scratching for wins where we could.

I was happy to snatch 3rd place away from the Lugs too... it ain't the championship, but its something to show for the year.

I'll send a PM about coughing up a module....

Regards

Mike
