No wonder you guys struggled walking around Gencon ...

Al, I think your next gaming session should be more interactive so they can work off all that cheesecake

Yeh. Stick to bacon cheeseburgers, all the major food groups:

1. Meat
2. Bacon
3. Cheese
4. Onions
5. Bread
6. Ketchup, Mayo and mustard (these all count as one food group)

I have the Shroom one.

These guys are selling PDF's of the module. Is that allowed by ER? They seem to be selling printed versions too, and I would like to pick up the rest of the series.

Frank, I'm pretty sure it's legit. ... I've seen the PDFs in a couple of places. In fact, I might just go ahead and test-drive one of them (even though I much prefer a physical product). This OSRIC thing is sort of intriguing; I know almost nothing about it.

Thanks, Xax. Just looking out for a small publisher who actually SHIPS his stuff.
It must be at least decent, since I remember it. I'll have to dig it up when I get home this weekend.

So what modules are there for Osric?  I have 4 of them iirc, couple from Ronin Arts and a couple from XRP, but would be interested in others.

Don't forget Goblinoid Games. Their "Medusa's Hunger" module is OSRIC compatible.

Plus Dan's one hell of a great guy.  PDT_Armataz_01_37

It's legit - we sell our PDFs at several different sites including our publisher cooperative site www.yourgamesnow.com. Piazo and Steve Jackson have always treated us honestly and paid on time so we're glad to be at their sites as well. :)

I'm happy that people here have been enjoying our Advanced Adventures. They're not collectible like most of material discussed on this site, but they are eminently playable, IMO. We try to provide a good product with good customer service: this industry is too small to survive for long without either. I don't post here much and I don't try to promote here, as that's not what this site is for, but I just wanted to say thanks to those who've supported us.

Ah lulu, thats where I remember getting these from.  So is that all of the printed versions available (don't care to buy PDFs, unless there are free modules out there)?

Out of all the small press items, I have to say that Expeditious Retreat Press has done the best for distribution.  I have seen them on the shelves in many of the gaming stores around which really caught me by surprise.

I have also seen these titles in my local gaming store (The Days of Knights in Newark, DE). I plan to pick them up next time I go there. I was actually quite surprised when I saw OSRIC titles on the shelf last I popped in, just didn't have the cash at the time.

I'd just like to toot my own horn one more time (and shill for Joe and Suzi as well)...

It is, IMO, freaking cool to hear that your work is sitting on a FLGS shelf somewhere.  Yeah, yeah... hundreds have done it before me.  I know, but I don't do this professionally.  It's truly a rush to know about it, and I'm glad XRP acquired a distribution line to make it happen.

I certainly do (I compulsively archive everything remotely interesting). Archive copies available on request.

On an other note, I can do nothing but endorse XRP's OSRIC line. They are not "collectibles", but they are high quality, no-nonsense old school products you might expect to see from old TSR or Judges Guild. All three I own (so far) have been outstanding. In addition, delivery has been nothing but exemplary, and they even included a cool hand-written thank you note in my packages. That, folks, is class.  :)

I once saw an RPG book which contained a dozen or so of my illustrations on the shelf at Half Price Books. I was torn. On one hand, it was beyond awesome to see it sitting there on the shelf. On the other, someone had bought it and then pawned it... ;)

For what it's worth ERP modules are sold in my local game store here in San Antonio. Very very cool. Good job guys!
