all in all with the recent prices of OCEs i'd say that 300 bucks is a decent proposal... (and you can even try the "best offer" option)

ciaooo

no reference sheets + recent prices of white box low like $86 above
** expired/removed eBay auction **

As I recall, Red Sonja is not Howard's character at all.

I haven't done my research, but as I recall, she is the invention of pastiche writers...grafted on to Howard's setting.

She is based on a mixture of the Howard character "Dark Agnes" (here stories can be found in the OOP Sword Woman paperback collection) and the character Red Sonya from the short story "Shadow of the Vulture".  Roy Thomas basically created her when he adapted the "Vulture" short store for an early issue of Conan the Barbarian comic, turning her into a regular co-star for Conan in that comic. BTW, she is also the main source of the "chainmail bikini" seen in fantasy art for the last few decades...according to Wiki, Esteban Maroto drew here with this and future artists and fans enjoyed it so much they continued the tradition.

Howard did have a couple of swordswomen in his stories...Belial and Valeria spring to mind.

I think that she is naturally attributed to Howard. I know I thought she was his. I even have some of the paperbacks.

I was just wondering this morning about Harami/Faro...where are they now?

Lost Tamoachan #227.  Seller says its Near Mint, although I think thats a bit of stretch.  Same seller does have lots of other interesting things(particularly Non-TSR) on top of it too though.  :)

I've been eying up the Cardboard Heroes for a week now but my visa bill just showed up in the mail so I don't think I'm going to bid.

Is this the same seller that sold a set of Group One Traveller items a month ago?

Xdnax is the seller that auctioned the Daystar Rahasia a couple of weeks ago.

It's a MERP module. Usually goes for a good price. I finally got one a few months back.

Check it out everyone! It looks like this lot has a 1st print Ghost Tower of Inverness!!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... SS:US:1123

What a pity the Seller didn't include a $50 BIN

I won't write to the Seller, as he specifies US bidders only. But looking forward to someone confirming whether this is really what it looks like!

Reminds me of one of those "joke" auctions Aceaum members like to pull...blurry photos.....listing a superrare with other common items...short description....

Anyway, it does mention the cover is separated. Hopefully someone that just wants a reading copy gets if for a decent price.

If it was a joke auction, the seller's Ebay handle would be blatantly ridiculous.  Something along the lines of Iluvdndsomuchithurts, greyhawkrulez, or bclarkie_is_wrong_about_me_i'm_no_shill.

:D
