La Derniere Illusion

As far as I can tell, given my powers in the French language, the title either means:

The Illusion's Butt

or

That Darned Illusion

(Possibly, The Dark Illusion?)

"But I have watched the dragons come, fire-eyed, across the world."

The Last Illusion.

No idea what it is though... :?

"Reader, Carthegena was of the mind, that unto thoſe Three Things, which the Ancients held Impoſſible, there ſhould be added this Fourth ; To find a Book Printed without Errata's."

Its a French Dungeons & Dragons cartoon storybook.  There are 4 or 5 of them in the French series.

Presumably the others are titled:

The Start of the Illusion

Run Away From the Illusion

Escargot of the Illusion

and

Unfortunate Gastric Accident of the Illusion

I mean...just speculating. :D

Basic set still in SW

Nice.  I'm puzzled by one thing: the box has the Lizardman logo on the front

http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p85/ ... cc72_1.jpg

but the Wizard logo on the back

http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p85/ ... cd5c_1.jpg

What's up with that?

Shanghai fun & friends!

The Fringe Dweller spies a token offering to the Deities and Demigods of his chosen world, this one has the 17 pantheons (including Cthulhu and Melnibonean mythoi) in what looks like used good condition, a steal for any Aussie buyer at $4.50.

The Fringe Dwellers eyes gleam in the glow emanating from the Star of Ravar which lies neatly in the palm of his gloved hand, a kings ransom the prize will fetch and a Kings life has payed for it this day.

Basic Set - good condition, assorted other pieces, but wait what is that the Fringe Dweller spies... could it be...yes it is  -  A 3rd print Dungeon Geomorphs, might even bid on this one myself, but then again it would have to take second place to my first edition (lizard logo) set.

The Fringe Dweller awakens from his slumber, the ground around him vibrates with approaching Hill Giants footfalls.

WILD THINGS 8O , the fringe dweller leaps with excitement, the quality of the treasure he now finds is exceptional, but alas NO cover.

The Fringe Dweller races along following the oversized chicken tracks left in the dewy ground, could the fabled hut be close by.

I wonder if it is an authentic 1980s item or a newer print.

Given some of his other items (and some of his feedback comments), I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's just some guy with a bunch of blank hats and iron-on transfers.
