not the same as watching you in a live auction, where the arm is wavering the mind is teetering on the brink and a cold-sweat breaks out on your brow as the price goes up and up john :)

oh yeah, that was cos you were sitting next to mike wasnt it :D

Al

ps. actually that was wrong as you were sat on the left end of the row....

Puhleeze...I probably would have won the Tegel at the auction if you hadnt pulled my arm down and called me a "daft sod" (or something like that).  Now some guy that already has three of them has it and I gotta deal with the rest of the world to get one now.

my one weak link in bidding is a tegel.

the one at gencon wasnt worth what that guy won as the book was pretty average and the maps were not that great and had writing on too. prb worth about $40 tops. if it was a nice minty one (and it WAS a first as well), then i would have sat there to $80 or so.
thats why i pulled your arm down at $65 cos it wasnt worth it in the condition it was in.

i just got an e-mail back off the Tegel seller. it reads as follows:

Hello,
I apologize for my mistake. I use a offline bulk auction system and somehow when I uploaded all of the AD&D items tht I have listed it grabbed this auction also. I sold all of my JG items at the beginning of the summer. Jeff

so there you go. there wasnt one for sale after all.

This is a classic...I wonder if that is supposed to be EGG on the left?

Surely this is collectable?
