Yes, that's a good idea... as I get to know you guys I guess I could always PM people I trust here.

As for the main site.... I'm on it all the time but the auction / estimates seem to be getting a little "long-in-the-tooth"...

That's what I thought when I first arrived. After a while I realised that 'rare' items come up on eBay time and time again, it's just a matter of being patient. In most cases you can get what you want for prices in the region of those listed here. Okay, UK prices seem to be a little higher. If I was to start out fresh I'd buy nothing for the first few months - I'd just watch and make notes, ask questions etc. A good way to save a bundle of cash and still get what you want in the end.

Yeah, bclarkie is OK as long as you aren't selling .PDFs, shilling auctions, or making troll-like postings.  :D

Millie, feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions about things like that. I'm only collecting figurines at this point, and I wouldn't even buy an item to resell it, too much trouble/not my M.O..
You definitely do owe Brian a reach-around at least. Quite a nice gesture on his part.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

You ALMOST want to take them back!!

Hey the guy just bent over backwards so you could have this set.

You posted in the interesting items thread not 'themilford is going to buy this item' thread

I think you owe Bclarkie a great big THANK YOU, he is a better man than me.

Buy first ask later!!

D.

I GET IT GUYS!!!

but in the world of digital "taking them back" would've been distorting the flow of this thread... you know, if I delete my posts...

I think I've given ample kudos to Bclarkie...

"So, Thanks again bclarkie! You are one of the "good guys" and I will be thinking of a way to make this up to you."

Incase he doesn't think so here's some more:

THANK YOU MR. Bclarkie I'm a more happy collector thank to you!

Please tell me how I can make this up to you.  :D

Why does that seem so much creepier to me than a book with a demon on the cover?

Hmm, no, I don't have a gambling problem, I'm winning, and winning is not a problem. That's like saying Michael Jordan has a basketball problem, or Def Leppard has an awesomeness problem. So why don't y'all pour some sugar on that?

I never seen that item listed before, but the company is still in business with the item listed on their website.

Just for future reference (in case you are serious about this), if you want it, don't post it here.  Also, do not presume that even though you posted it first, that no one else has already seen it.  Pretty much any interesting item is found by a number of people here whether it gets posted or not.  This forum does not adhere to a "I saw it first so you can't bid" type of philosophy so don't get your feathers ruffled if you don't win auctions you post.

On the same note, I am completely surprised that Brian hadn't already found the auction before he BIN'd it - he must be slacking ;)
