I was just over at the Pied Piper website store....I thought now might be a good time to finally order a copy of Bottle City.

Only one shipping method is available...priorty for $6.80.

Oh, hey there Mark.  So you're bidder #1 eh?  Gotta love how Ebay hides all the bidder's names now huh?

Quote" GameMaster Publications GM1 A Flight of Eagles, and GM2 Find the Lady, haven't been seen in these parts for a long time too. GM1 could hit £100 in the right condition. And if you've got ST1 Up The Garden Path, you're minted" Unquote

(sorry couldnt get the quote thing to work properly  8O )

I know this may be old news now, but I've been after a GM1 to complete my set of 5 for ages and when I saw one last year, it didn't go for too much, but I thought another would follow..... and it didn't.

I do have a really good condition Find the Lady though and didn't realise they were worth much. I only wanted them to complete my Pelinore stuff with the Imagines.

Hey ho....  :?

Yeah... that is the standard edition.  However, this one appears to be up to nearly 500, so it may be that those available from PPP are now the post standard editions (without the signature, numbering and misleading price tag!)?
It should have the map (in two halves rather than as a larger whole one that was available with the LE).
Just to really muddy the waters here, I have an "Authors" - none numbered LE, that I was told would be limited to a further 10 over and above the original LE run.
Hope that clears things up!?

Ooh. Sounds interesting. How did you come upon that?

Thanks guys, £16.50/ $33 which is the current bid would be expensive then? Think I'll give up on Bottle City as simply too complex and go back to perfecting the Grand Unification Theory instead.

I'd really like these 2 but the starting bid scares me a bit!

** expired/removed eBay auction **

looks like a lot of money especially as these are available on the 4shared website for download!! I would have thought that place should have been closed down by now due to the amount of stuff being uploaded there.

Surely WotC could do something against copyrights etc?? Its sites like that which make a mockery of owning stuff for real!

I looked at similar discs for sale some time ago, but they sold for over £140!  8O

There's always a chance that a poorly written title or description...or a good stroke of timing...can get one under the radar and into my hands.

When I first started on Ebay, three years or so ago, I thought I had missed the golden age of bargains.  S

Some of the "high" prices I paid...like $20 for Inferno or $14.95 for Caverns of Thracia, were insane when I paid them and dirt cheap now.  For instance, I have two copies of Dark Tower.  I paid $9.95 on Amazon for one of them and $5 on Ebay for the other....within the past 36 months.

With the GM series being discussed...if anyone has less-than-perfect copies that they would like to offload, I would be interested in snagging them.  Condition is not really an issue aside from...maybe...no cat pee, or something like that.   :D

Never give up the hunt. There will always be something, especially if your interests are wide and your knowledge of what is sought after decent. Then there are the true prizes, the items you want for yourself, sometimes just some little thing that captures a spark of imagination or recaptures something from your past. Those treasures are out there too if you keep loooking.
