Would still do better split.

Condition looks good, but awaiting checking to see whether complete (aside from the DG key book which obviously ain't there).
I didn't ask whether the stated writing was in pen or pencil, though.

It would be a real downer if the DG was missing pages, it doesn't come up very often!!

The last time DG was up was back in 2002, I believe. $382. I couldn't bid more, or I'd have paid $600 for it at the time. It should be worht 1K if complete and in really nice shape.

Funny. All this great stuff comes up, I've just gotten my federal kickback, and I can't spend a dime on anything. Yay. Also, seems pretty ironic all this goodness is pre-GenCon. Oh well. I'll just keep waiting.

As to the other, I'm reasonably sure Gary had one in his private file, and thus that Gail (Gygax) has it... oughta ask her tho.

Alas, I'm heading up north tomorrow morning, and will be in my tent when this thing ends.  Good luck all!  Looks awesome!  :D

Judging by the RPG items and the past/present sales items of the DG seller, I'd guess she either got them on trade/consignment or found them at a flea market.
Anyone remember the $5 1st brownie flea market pickup? About half a yard from bclarkie's house?

I remember that, the freaking PO couldn't explain how it got soaked through. I thought it was $85? Third Print, IIRC.
BTW, anyone know what they do with items they keep after paying the insurance?

Back in 1991 or so I did not buy this game when I found it in the Goodwill toy section.

The subject matter scared me.  :(

Seller also has this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-ritual-kit- ... dZViewItem

Which is described at:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/9337

I've never heard of these games, but their existence is a real find- the Satanist scare over RPGs is a major part of their history. Society looked at it differently in those days, as something entertaining but not real. The end result is that Avalon Hills 1974 "Ritual Kit" product line appears very bizarre today.

SPI's Demons has a similar spookiness, especially as it involves actual invocations. Space Gamer #28 has cover art promoting it:

[The auction has ended, but the picture is still there.] My copy is a bagged mini-game, I didn't even realize there was a boxed version. Is it a regular full-size box, or is that version a mini-game too?

Boxed version is full sized, but cheap and skimpy like a lot of the SPI games at the time that weren't wargames.
