Okay, any chance these are the late versions photocopies that TSR did sell?  Or is the Men & Magic book a dead giveaway that these are not official photocopies?

I was presuming illegal copies here, regardless of that backstory.

Who would ever buy anything from a guy who names himself after a dick? Actually, he was redundant! (Air Force/Phallus).

Decent price on some Dungeons:

http://cgi.ebay.com/11-issue-DUNGEON-MA ... dZViewItem

Plus, the seller has other BIN Dungeon lots.  Unfortunately, only one issue that I need.

Wrong thread man.  This belongs in "Silliest Auction Prices".  :)

Yes. I just went back and looked through the guy's inventory and he has some of the silliest prices I've ever seen.

I had no idea what that was worth, but then saw LC1 for $150 and Harnlore 6 for $25 (still available at the publishers for $5) and so on and so on. I wonder if he ever sells anything?

It gets a lot worse.  Here is what is said on his "About Me" page:

Hi:

I'm Kenneth Williamson, a Virgo, and I found a bunch of neat stuff that I hope you'll want to buy.  This account belongs to www.trollandtoad.com, and I work for them.  But I am your representative and responsible for everything, the pictures, the communication, handling your payments and getting the items shipped out properly.

I'll try my best and hope you are happy.  Feel free to email me about any problems.

Thanks, Ken

So he is a Virgo....who the hell cares?  :?   He found a bunch of neat stuff?  More likely Jon Huston gave him a bunch of junk to try and sell.  But what I find most interesting of all is the last sentence.  "Feel free to email me about any problems."  Does he mean shipping or feedback problems or just general problems?  If I have a burning sensation when I pee should I email him?  How about if I am having marital issues or my credit score is bad?  Should I email him about those as well?

I guess it could be worse....his About Me page could be a nice novella-length rant like Tonya's.  Hopefully we will see him at GenCon and have a nice laugh at his expense.

Reminds me of that idiotic song from the disco era "float on" by The Floaters, to quote just a few of the lyrics:

Leo and my name is Paul
You see I like all women of the world
You see to me all women are wild flowers
And if you understand what I'm sayin'
I want you to

Mmm take my hand
Come with me, baby, to Love Land
Let me show you how sweet it could be
Sharing love with me, I want you to

Float, float on (So float with me, baby)
Float on, float on (Yeah)
Float, float, float on (Float with Paul, y'all)
Float on, float on

Thinking that the picture MIGHT have been a B&W, or simply poor lighting, I sent a message asking if all of the book covers were in color, or black and white.

Dear aneoth,

No the colors on the covers are black and white (well a yellowed white due to age). The books print is entirely in black and white though. Hope this answers your question.

No my mother was. My father was more an Eagles, CCR man. After they separated my mother used to play disco tapes incessantly. If I ever hear Silver Convention, I still get a gag reflex  :)

I see I can easily relive this era if I wish to:

To a US only auction.  However, the seller is a newbie, so I'm sure he can be weaseled out of all his auctions in short order.
