They look like badly done fakes to me. The item in the last picture looks particularly like a photocopy. Have no idea what the deal is with the pinkish cover on the Men & Magic. Maybe Cherry Kool-Aid?

The same thought occurred to me. They look like old photocopies of one of the original sets. It is strange however, that there is a printing line on the inside of the pink cover. If they were photocopies, who would bother to do that?

Same seller's got some other interesting stuff, like a nice Tegel, Dundracon Referee maps and modules, Overland Encounters, Arduin Dungeon 1, and other things no one here should pay any attention to...

yes, his shipping to the UK is more outrageous than Tonya's was

People can keep collecting....but do it intelligently. There is simply no reason for a white box to go for three times it's value....except that EGG died last week and a lot of casual lookie loos got on ebay and went berserk overpaying for the item by bidding against each other. A more thoughtful buyer might have waited a week or so, picked his spots, and come out with the same thing for, say, $150-$200 instead of $500. You watch, this next batch of whiteys put up to capitalize on those few crazy sales will come down to earth and go for their true value.
