These things tend to find their level, and they pop up on lot's of peoples searches so I don't think it will go cheap (I put in an opening bid just as a marker - hopefully I'm totally wrong and no one else has noticed it!! )

BTW - How much will this end at? Anyone?

$1200??  Just a guess

probably about right - wouldn't think it will go for less.

Does the low number of it (5) make any difference?

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

I think it does, it would be cool to have one of the early numbers :)

I was a bit surprised at a GDQ going for almost $60, but hey most things are a bit pricey recently.

Yeah, it is almost better to buy the individual modules, rather than the compilation.  lol  I guess it just mostly depends on rareness of the print, rather than the material contained within.

Crazy.

The seller actually contacted me through Ebay about it when I was the high bidder and offered it to me for $700.  I just didn't have the cash or I would have taken it.

almost better? sheesh its MILES better to get the individual modules :)

from a DMs perspective, i actually find it easier having the the monos G1, G2, G3, D1, D2, D3 and then the normal Q1. its more rough and ready and i dont see stuff on the pages that distract me and its easier to just make stuff up to fit what i want.

but then to each their own.

Ah, the days of yore when a GDQ1-7 was a guaranteed $100 in your pocket.  When I first started selling on ebay 10years ago one of the first items I sold was my own battered, heavily notated, beat to hell copy with a photocopied mapbook....that went for almost $100 as I recall!
