That was great ... I enjoy a nice "word picture."

Also, I dare one of you guys to win that and then take it out in public. No, I double-dog-dare you!  :)

TSR put out black and white reprints of some of the the books after original stock ran out.  I have a Blackmoor version that I bought from TSR.  I cannot say if all of them were reprintred in this manner though.  They could just be personal copies...

I meant to respond to these posts earlier. FWIW, I have one of the Blackmoor prints that dbartman is referring to. I bought it by mail from the TSR Hobby Shop in the late 80s. The B&W cover is thin paper, not cardstock like the earlier prints.

I may be mistaken, but that looks rather like a photo copy

Looking at the larger images, seems more the condition rather then any photocopy tells..and the images have been scanned.

There's often 4 or more of these on Ebay at the same time, at least on the US Ebay. The one you list is missing 5 different pieces, which is pretty typical as well.

With a good frame, it would be a nice addition to a store wall... if the store was mine, all the better  8)

Don't really care for the hole in the cover though.
