Your not going to see this very often. A white Dragonbone in Original Box.

So that is what the box looks like:

I wonder which version it is, the dial or slider type?

Now, see...there's the sort of phrase one doesn't read every day.

"But I have watched the dragons come, fire-eyed, across the world."

I actually don't know which, though I've always assumed the slider for some reason.  To find out, I'd have to break open the box by busting the seal and I'm not going to do that.  This is about as mint of a Dragonbone as you're ever likely to find.

Here is a nice lot that includes Dark and Hidden Ways and Wild Things.

There are also a couple of extremely rare misprints.  The Book of Liars and The Rouges Gallery.

 Oops .... I didn't think anyone would be interested in those old character sheets especially since there is no room to record my 2nd Edition proficiencies.

Actually though, good catch... I completely overlooked the item.  Should be an interesting auction.

You can't trust anything you read in the first book and the second can only be read with a pair of rose-tinted glasses.  :D  :D  :D

Actually they're not that rare - you'll often find the Book of Liars bundled with the other old favourite the Friend Folio. (and who could forget Gygax's master work ' the World of Greyhound'!?)

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

This one is actually quite rare as it was only available at the bus station.

Let's not forget that favorite Spanish-language, D&D classic the Monster Manuel

Meh....The World of Greyhound and Friend Folio are indeed rarities but their scarcity pales in comparison to the Monster Manuel.  Only twenty of these books are rumored to exist.  Lovingly handcrafted by the Benedictine monks of Santa Lucia del Camino, Oaxaca, Mexico back in 1982, the pages of these rare tomes were made from coconut palm leaves and bound using the ear hair of spider monkeys.  The ink contains the blood of a village maiden, which is almost impossible to find in Mexico nowadays.

Damnit Smarmy...couldnt you at least come up with a decent description like I did?  Sheesh!
