You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

"The Abduction"
is the first of a three part series, involving some noble from Waterdeep and a kidnapping. Unless, that one is something entirely different. Seems they were pushing the novel line at the same time...

It's actually a nine part series called the "Double Diamond Triangle Saga", by virtue that some of the books could be read out of order since they dealt with different groups trying to reach a universal goal.  The books were an experiement that apparantly failed, they were only $3 each and I have a set for sale now in my ebay store if you want to read better descriptions. The series features some veteran FR writers, and some famous recurring characters (including an assassin made famous by R.A. Salvatore), but on the whole I remember the series as being pretty sloppily written and extremely formulaic.
There were two versions of "The Abduction", book one.  There was a "99cent" version that came free with the computer game Blood and Magic, and a $1.50 version that was available in the bookstores.

My mistake. I've never been a fan of FR or "RPG novels," so thanks for the clarification.

This auction looks to be some old gamers collection from an IStoleIt in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.  At least two (possibly seven) Polyhedrons, a World of Greyhawk folder, and some hidden/unknown "reading materials":

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the tan-colored book showing the fighter swinging at the dragon (with "Dungeons & Dragons" underneath).  I haven't seen this book before.

Thanks,

Keith

It is a folio (to put your character sheets in it for example)... not a book

You definitely dont want to bid on this auction.  That seller has quite a reputation around here.  I'm told he's a bit crazy.  Likes to ride around London on a bike screaming obscenities at people....that's just what I have heard mind you.

Once, I happened to mention that I didn't like tea while I was within earshot of him.  The next thing I knew he had started following me around ranting about how I was obviously not human for not liking the stuff.

Eventually I got rid of him by throwing a bunch of early Dragons into the middle of the road and running away while he was distracted.
