I've been reading the Lankhmar Swords series and enjoying each book, so I pulled out some of my Lankhmar D&D material and wanted to know if someone has a comprehensive list of what was released by TSR so I can complete it.  Until now I'd just picked up some random stuff that happened to be in lots of other D&D materials.  If some one has a list or knows of a website that would be great.

I have a question about a Lankhmar module and thought I would use this old thread instead of making a new one.

Can someone confirm that LNR2 Tales of Lankhmar has a foldout map? It does according to Adrian Newman's site:

http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/lm/lm-lnr2.htm

However, I have bought two in NM condition and neither had a map. I have just seen one in Australia and asked the Seller about it and it does not have a map. Seller cited Adrian's site and suggested it did not come with one. I checked the other LNR2 listings on ebay and none mention a foldout map.

Can someone check this for me and also check if the map has a piece code that matches the module? Thanks!

I went through that about a month ago.  I concluded that LNR2 does not have a map.

*rip tear voooop*

Ah, the sounds of a de-shrinking.

No separate map, but the cover is a three-panel affair.

A small Fall/Winter 1991 catalog and a green Customer Response card are inside.

Believe it or not, I don't collect shrinkwrap items as much anymore. I sold off a vast majority of my personal collection of shrinked items a few months ago privately.  Somewhere in the range of 285 unique items or so(unique meaning 1 of each i.e A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, etc.).

I still have quite a few left-overs floating around here(mostly second edition items now), but for the most part almost my entire 1st edition line of modules, accessories and box sets are gone.

Regardless, it still pains me to hear people say they *opened* items up.  :?

I occasionally take of shrinkwrap when it is turning the item into a banana or the letter 'S'. I figure it is better off flattened and unshrunk then like that.

Incidentally, I appreciate the unshrinking JohnGaunt to once and for all confirm the map status of that module!

I would never deshrink, ?is it a word?, anything.  I think it spoils the integrity and feeling of a module.  Even if the wrap is tightening up the module I still think its better on than off.

And clarkie, I am turning into a shrink junkie.....are you listing the 2E stuff soon?   :?:

Another quick question about a Lankhmar module. Does Cutthroats in Lankhmar come with a fold-out map? Does it have a piece code that matches the module?  Thanks.

And, a second question. I just noticed Adrian's site says CA2 Swords of Deceit comes with a foldout map. My copy does not have one. Can someone confirm that this came with a map?

I have to dissagree with that last part.
Although it really depends on the amount of warping that is going on.
Seriously SOMETIMES the SW REALLY needs to come off.

I am not a SW junkie, but I do like items in SW as it gives me a better secure feeling that it is as close to Mint as it gets.

And I have deshrinked some items (Modules) that were starting to warp.
IMO It was done to help protect the module (Or whatever is SWed) from obvious future damage.

I love these threads. Lets me reveal my lewd collecting tendencies in all their glory!!

Quite often, I buy shrinkwrapped modules JUST for the pleasure of opening them. I like getting my modules in VF/NM condition. Usually, a SW module is in that condition, and it's almost a guarantee. Granted, occasionally I look at the pic and the SW mod has mad spine creasings or something, but normally, a SW mod is at least a VF+, perfect for my collection. Sorry gents, but this stuff is meant to be read and enjoyed. :)

That's actually one of the maps from the City of Greyhawk boxed set.
