When trying to post to Steven's horizontal/vertical thread, I'm getting "You are not authorized to view this page." which is being served from posting.php

I can reply OK here, obviously.  Hmmm.

You may have stumbled upon a bug which I've been aware of for a while, or perhaps a new version of the same bug.  There are certain words which are being blocked by my host provider's security software (though they deny it); one of the words is C-U-R-L.  If you have that word in your message, you get the "not authorized" error message when you hit submit.

Apparently, C-U-R-L is a command that can be used in a hacking attempt, so it's blocked.  There are probably other words.  The only solution at this time is to find a synonym for it; "roll" works in most cases.  :)

If you didn't have C-U-R-L in your message, send me the text of your post in an e-mail and let me try and figure out what (new) word it is.

Foul

D&D pez?

Interesting on the word-selection info, Scott:  that was definitely in my reply.  Thanks!
