He was mainly known as an illustrator for the Osprey series of military themed books and, for gamers, for his wonderful covers for the MERP line. I loved his work and I'm really saddened in seeing him passing away. I always hoped he could reach bigger fame with the Lords of the Rings movies, but alas...  :(  :(  :(  Anyway, for me he was one of the top artists in the field and always will  :cry:

Bad news, really, his work was excellent, no doubt, and especially his MERP covers, so inspired.
From my point of view, one of the top artists too.
